TO O2 users,

I'm getting this phone 10days from now & i was wondering if you could answer some of my wonders about it:

1-how often do you charge the battery?

2-does the screen go off to save the battery life after a little while if the PDA is not used?

3-since i dont know much about PDA's.can you tell me if this O2 can run same WMP formats as the normal windows we have?

4-can you play videos using a wide screen look?

I hope that isnt much to answer,thanks anyways!

OK..
Eten X500 Glofiish:
-reliable GPS (if u need it most, coz I dont)
-better battery life
-slim but looks cheap
-2 buttons that placed above the screen is crancky
-all construction actually strong but ofcourse looks cheap and old
-after reset or sometimes its just makes the sound options get back to default, 3/4 from max volume
-the screen is glitch or wave if u using ur stylus
-gap between chasing and lcd, so its possible for dust to get in
-the button almost useless, hard to press
-sound is better than O2Exec, but it still u cant expect from PDA

hmm.. to sum up: u'll regret it if u buy it.

Ok, about price maybe its cheaper but u'll get of course cheap looks.

O.k I been using pda phones for quite some time
for example: Motorola 6188 entry level pda(ol Skool). Recently I have been thru about 6-8 different type of Pda's from the Motorolla 3G 1000 to the some what new O2 mini X-ec. Hmmm as for the question on if the 02 Mini X-ex has speaker phone jus keep ur finger on the green phone icon for about 6-8 secs and the speakerphone should turnon. Now down to bussiness, all these phones:xda2i,mini,mini2, xda2, and most micro/symbian OS this includes
motorola and the sony's cause they run on these OS also. I find that the developers promise far to much than the products can actually produce. I have had far to many phones where I would be using at least 4 functions and after a week-month the Pda phones starts choking, freezing up etc. Why offer so many options in a phone when the phone can't even handle the operations properly. Currently I have a OS software based problem with my O2 mini X-ec, I was running gps software, media player, camera, contacts, sync with Outlook and I will use notes and ocassionally use MS word. I just find that as a unit I feel there is still alot more R&D that will be needed in order to fully produce a phone that is totally capable
of working with no glitches. Now i am using a sony ericson J210i. Still waiting for my phone O2 mini X-ec to be returned for repair. Not happy.

I have gone through 2 xda minis, recently i purchased the ipaq 6915.in short the O2's were ONLY good as PDAs where as the Ipaq is good overeall + there is a GPS that i am using, the procesor shits all over the O2. Can every one see where i am going with this?? DONT BUY O2!!!

Hey Monser7....whats the difference between the ATOM EXEC and the ATOM.........can anyone tell me......if there's not much of a difference....then should i buy that.......let me know anyone.....cause there is a 200$ difference in both and i cant figure it out why.........are they the same size do they look the same........PLEASE CLARIFY

Oh yeah sorry forgot to mention, before I bought ETEN X500, I like the features but u'll regret it. Coz a lot of bug, looks cheap, unreliable, trully I've replace it just for 1 weeks and suffer $70. Shit happen right, and ofcourse if ur looking for a device for works and reliable, just dont amaze with spec without a perfect quality.

Just believe it, ok thx..

This is a good PDA exactly, and I've been using it for almost 3 weeks. No defect, not a thing.. So.. maybe I've got the good product, coz every 1000 product usually there's some defect about 10% and sometimes pass Quality Control.

The Major of it bad points are the battery life and speaker without equalizer (u had to set it) also the equalizer is useless when u set any song as ringtone.

I love the phone, small, fast (even for camera, no 5 sec taking picture like someone said below, it's just fast, no O2plus bug, it's just smooth)

Thx maybe this is could help for taking decision.

when you dial a phone no with your thumb dosent the screen gets spoilt and for sms typing do you have to use both hands and always a stylus is it comfortable i am thinking between o2 and se p990

I love the speed of this phone. I actually have an Atom Life with 1GB rom 64RAM but I'm not satisfied with the processor speed. it's just 416. I want a high-end ppc. though this has wifi, 3g, bluetooth 2.0, FM and all those upgrades. If there's anyone from the gulf who sells their o2 atom exe, you might want to swap with my atom life plus cash or buy mine for 320BD.

Hi I have problem with my atom exec.I purchased my atom exec pda from Fortress Shop at Honk Kong in August. At the beginning there were few problems because of its a new product. I upgrade my rom one month ago. And there wasnt an important problem. But 2-3 weeks ago suddenly my phones sound has gone. I cant use phonespeaker and Microphone during a phone conversation. There is no sound from speakers when media playing and notifications, warnings. The interesting thing is its ringing when an incoming call comes. I can use the headset without a problem. Also bluetooth headset is working. I wrote to O2 support and they suggested me to do hard reset. But I had allready done it seveeral times and I upgraded my rom. Finally they told me to send it to Honk Kong. I am living in Turkey and its not a good idea. Can anyone help me?
