Hi all,
I am planning to buy this O2 Atom life model in this March '08, due to its superb function(as stated in the internet).
Can i know is it worth to buy as of now? Has the performance already been improved?Will it hang somemore? Battery life is it alright?
Please give some comment/guidelines.

I have an o2xda atom life and I download a software thats will work with mac. And the guy said probably the bluetooth is too advance in asia than United State. Does it work in mac? or not.

The battery life is really bad, in addition, can't really hear the other party talking especially in noise environment.

Hai, This mobile is a real crap........it looks crazy and the fking thing about this mobile is it hangs a lot and the Battery life, Man its damn poor.....like their after sales service.........People who ever bought this mobile are really in trouble......i want to get rid of this soon.

I bought the o2 phone in singapore. 3 weeks into it, the LCD screen cracked. There was no rough handling nor any induced damage on my part. The screen just cracked.
The worst part of the tale is, the rubbish attitude of the so-called "After-sales" services. They are unhelpful, slightly rude, tactless and the best part, they don't call you back nor reply your emails.
I wrote in a email to MWG on 29th Jan and till today, 24 Feb, they have not reply my email. What a service....

i have one problem with this phone that is, it freezes sumtimes and i have already reset 2 times so anyone can help me with this i will b thank ful. but i like this phone alot

I have always assumed that O2 and HTC where the same. Unfortunately i got rid of the HTC P3600 a few weeks ago and realizing my error decided to buy the o2 xda atom life tonight. While in the shop this phone froze. after six or seven hard resets i finally got it to function. After going home and trying to syncronize it froze again. I immediately returned it to the shop and swore never to touch o2 phones. sorry but i can only say that i rate it garbage on performance.

All i got to say abt this phone that its amazing...recoment the world to get it been using it for abt 6 months plus already no problems at all...trust me n get this

I have some problem like yours. (Im using Atom Exec) and it keep dying.

If you buy original product, send in for warranty service. They will "reprogram" or "repair your ram" - as shown in mine warranty report.

After that It great!

ALSO, if you download 3rd party software, it might contributed to the hanging also - if not compatible. try to removed any unofficial program.

if still hang, go for warranty service man!

Sunny? what are you talking about. I was of the opinion that WMG were a group put together by old O2 asia execs (which retained 40% of the old staff) to buy out o2 asia. I may be wrong. What you are talking about is sounding like a well established, long established group with cred. Lets wait for the warranty claims from the old disaster called O2 Asia and the O2 atom life phones which will flood back to them and put them under severe pressure. I hope this phone will be taken off the market soon because O2 atom life and O2 xda comet are very very bad phones indeed and should be avoided. do not buy this phone please. search the internet and youtube and see what i mean. search user issues, complaints, problems etc. and you will find a lot of tales of misery and people who have wasted their money on this product

I had the speakers replaced and the RF board replaced on my o2 atom life. Now the phone still freezes, cant hook up to mobile internet and its not charging properly. Even when i hook up the o2 atom charger the phone says charging then about 5 seconds afterwards the o2 atom life stops charging. This is really annoying because if the battery goes dead then i have to wait approximately 20-30 minutes with trying to make sure the phone is charging properly (its hit and miss) before this cruddiest device will turn itself on. The phone reset itself during phone calls. this o2 atom comet xda life is absolutely the worst phone out and i can see why O2 asia sold out because they are ON THE RUN. You better run o2... run coz i want to get my money back

It is a very nice phone only if it is with windows mobile 6 version. personaly i like this phone i bougt this phone in november 2007 and it was still working fine till febrary 2008 before it was felt buy me in the pool. i bought it from india and now i am in usa and there is no service center for this phone. Just becausse i like this phone i am buying a new phone with the same model but this time from mwg because they are providing warrenty even in usa.

I completely agree the original O2 Atom Life before the final upgrades were given with the new MWg brand were horrible, but now that everything has a fix it seems to be working pretty well, then again, type in acell phone name on Google and put the words complaint, problems, issues, and you will get a bunch of complaints on every one of them even the Tytn II lol

o2 atom life and o2 comet which ever you want xda atom is the crappiest phone out one just has to read the user reviews and lots of complaints to see this. there are just complaints after complaints about many issues with the xda comet and atom life that its not funny. this is the last time i buy an o2 product also check youtube and you will see all the funny videos on there bagging this phone.
