How do you activate the speakerphone during a call? I user speakerphone a lot and it needs to be a one button deal. Do you have to wait until the call is answered before you can use the speakerphone?
Thanks in advance. I can't seem to locate the manual anywhere for download.
its the finest developed eqipment by the humanbeing in this world
I really appreciate this mobile
In response to the criticism of the "ghetto speak". The guy is using a modern device within a modern framework of the English language and should be encouraged to make public his comments not lambasted for his use of txt vocabulary. He also gives us a glimpse of his world in that there are dangers associated with using his PDA in public – perhaps a cautionary warning to us all…
I have installed quite a few programs on my exec and stored on my SD Card however each rogram still takes a bit of space from the internal memory. Is their a way to increase this internal program memory or not? If so what do I need to do? Can I put it in a shop and get them to put more memory on the exec?
Wow, I was embarrased to read your comments. What are you all 15? If you want to be taken seriously write properly, take the two seconds to ensure you spell your words properly, and please, for the love of god, save the "ghetto speak" for your imaginary friends. I find it hard to believe any of you own the same phone I do. Its sad, what a true waste of hardware and resources.
I have O2 XDA Exec for a month now and I have already experienced a number of problems, worse is when You seek help where nobody from the network helps you. I think this device has not been tested properly as it stucks most of the time, bootloader failure as well as ROM upgrade. Nothing really seems working, Currently my XDA Exec is frozen and when I contacted service centre I have been told I can send it to them and if they can not repair it they send it back to me, without even asking me what is wrong with the device and that says something about the customer service.
If there is a way I would have cancelled my contract and returned this device.
Please take my honest advice if you are planning to buy this device check product recall list. The design and the intended usage of the design is excellent but neither the hardware nor the software works and should have been tested more the device would have been the best in the market.
O2 needs to improve the customer care service. Above all I like the device but it doesn't work.
I was one of the first to buy this phone in the uk 11months ago.it's a great devise-i'm still using it.guick and responsive-does not freeses like some are claiming.much more better than xda 2i-freeses dayly when you play musik and search internet at the same time.for any potential buyers-you can't get wrong with this phone it's great!

If anyone is of the opnion that having more RAM will increase the speed of data transmittion then u are wrong. The main speed of the system is purely on the processer not the RAM. RAM is secondry.
I have a doubt if this product is been withdrawn from the market as this product is not in display on O2 commercial site.
please verify before u buy
A truly good product, but unfortunately not excellent. The producers of the XDA Exec had an oppertunity to make this are real must have useful gadeget. with such a big screen it is difficult to imagine why any picture or video is thumbnail size, what on earth were they thinking of? the Ram memory is too small, so consequently the device frequently freezes. there are a number of third party software products that work on the xda11i which do not work on the Exec. fax capability is just one, but there are many more.I am also on my third Exec, having had problems with the others constantly freezing. Nevertheless, it's sleek, well designed and attractive. If it's the latest gadget your after with potential to improvement with updated software, then this is the product. The email capability and sending of pictures via email is excellent. my verdict is this product is good but could have been excellent, must try harder!!!! p
it is a request that in this set the ram is 64 mb instead of 128 mb or 256 mb,so that the speed became slow.so plse if possible plse increase its ram capacity from 64 to 128 or 256 or make new set with this ram.
YES... 02 XDA Exec has functions identical to Qtek 9000, i-mate JASJAR and T-Mobile MDA IV.
Did O2 Exec have comunity or club?I am Exec owner,Wish to Share EXP with all EXEC owner.
Is there any way that the Exec can have blackberry capability? They are advertised saying that it does but appearantly the settings for it arent available at the moment...
Hey People isn't the same device as imate Jasjar ?? it's exactly the same even in specs ..!! Just a differnt brand ..

hi everybody - thought i'd let you know (unfortunatley we have no specs so can't give exact details) o2 are planning 2 new handsets - O2 ICE - which will be available as a contract and pay as you go device which according to current information will be launched W/C 04/09/06 and also O2 JET which will be released 02/10/06
any1 know if o2 is simply re naming these - as i wanna no what they are - asalthough i am prone to hate o2 branded handsets they sound as if they may be alright - just by names - they have some decent features (expecially JET) - if any1 knows if these are simply renaming other models can you blast me an e - mail through
and take it in good stead that this is acurate - i work for o2 tech help desk - but we have been NO specs (i wish we had though)
