i think the O2 XDA IIi is suitable for the white collar, becaauce can save many unnessary works and improve their work performance.
the design is quite solid and if can modify smaller than before, that will be great.
if can add the 3G function will eb more perfect.

I upgraded from the XDA2 and got the XDA2i. Don't waste your time with the XDA2i.
The XDA2i has bluetooth problems and the screen keeps locking up especially when using TOM TOM Navigator (this is a known problem to O2)
O2 replaced the XDA2i with an XDA2s but I can't see that it's that much better than the original XDA2 though at least TOM TOM Navigator works better but it was fine in the original XDA2 I had. There is more flash memory etc but having used them both I really didn't notice any real difference. Memory space is increased but I have a storage card anyway. Slide out quert keyboard? what's that all about are the onscreen keyboard and leter recogniser not enough??
For the price difference and the fact that the features and speed aren't that much different (Except the camera viewer is garbage compared to the XDA2 which shows a full screen view of what you are taking pics of, the XDA2s shows about a third of what the XDA2 and XDA2i shows).
For me I will be sending it back and just getting a newer XDA2

Amazing phone, but costly. Has helped me organise my life with it's ease to sync with computer and remind me of my schedule. I believe that the comment regarding the phone as disappointing, and the aqusation that it keeps crashign can only be down to the user's fault, as I've had mine much longer than three days and it's running fine.

Initially the O2 XDA IIi looks like a fantastic phone with loads of features and great reliability.
I am sad to report otherwise. I have had this phone for three days now and it has done nothing but freeze and crash. It will now no longer turn on.
Windows Mobile wasn't really designed around mobile phones - it was introduced for PDAs only. The novelty has now worn off and i'm really angry that the handset is of such poor quality.

I noticed that someone was talking about the imminent arrival of xda111. Does anybody have any details of timing for launch in the UK. I was just about to purchase a xda11i. With my thanks, Malcolm

I traded in my o2 XdaIIS for this phone 3 days ago,and soon realised what a big mistake I had made! To begin with, it apears as if the o2i were made at a very tight budget. The volume control key as compared to the o2s is very loose and vobbly, which gives it a very unsure feeling when increasing or decreasing the volume during a call.Secondly, the hole for the camera button seems to be handcut, and definitely not well designed. It is unpolished, rough and a total turn off. Upon speaking with o2 India, I was told that bcos that part of the pda is made of aluminium, its supposed to look like that...!!Third, although the o2i is equipped with a faster processor (516mhz as compared to the 400mhz of the o2s), there is very little, or no difference in the time taken in navigating the menu, or multitasking. However, what is apparent is that becasue of the faster cpu, the battery stand by time is now much lower. At best, I got a talktime of 1.5 hours as compared to the 2-2.5 hours of the o2s.On the positive side, the o2i is lighter and sleeker than the o2s. Also the 1.3 megapixel camera is a nice change.Because of the screen size however, the picture viewed on the display is grainy, and not as clear as the picture taken from a Nokia 7710 or Nokia 9500 even though they have lesser resolution cameras. Transerfing the picture on the computer shows that although the o2i perhaps has the best camera in pda's, its still not at par with a nokia 3230, or Motorola A780. Although the specifications of this pda look great on paper,my advice to anybody thinking of buying this device would be to first evaluate its pro's and con's as compared to the o2s and mini, and then decide.

I recently purchased an XDA2i sim free unlocked handset from 02 in the u.k. It is a lovely piece. I bought it as a present for someone in West Africa, O2 has assured me that it will work over there, since I bought it on a handset basis only, however I am sceptical, do you have an opibnion on this or tip that I can use to try it out before I give it as a present.

UK ebay has XDA IIi if you are interested to get one. I'm not too sure if you need some unlock software for the o2's XDA in order to work in South-East Asia. Any idea?
