Is anyone having issues with the contacts?

Mines annoying me like taxi driver, i have outlook contacts, sim contacts, MSN contacts... all of which are the same people 3 times! its a real pain going through the contacts to find people, all with people with different formatted names.

On top of that, i'm sure its been made my a left handed person, it seems a lot more clumsy to use than the MINI S which i had last.

Installed google maps on it tho, that works a treat with the GPS and ariel photos!

Great fone apart from the driver issues. We have 2 of them and can watch all the movies, comedies and all that.Navigator software easy to use. With this phone you dont need an iPod Nano. And if you're a geek u'd love this baby...

Don't Buy this phone or any other with Qualcomm MSMXXXX HTC has refused to develope proper drivers for the graphic processor built in which causes this phone to run at a substandard rate much lower than much older phones.

Think someone is stuck on HTC's to much, nothing wrong with the XDA's and they do the job well. If you treat your bit of kit with respect they will always work! I have never found a problem with the battery life of any of my O2 XDA's that I've had.

TOUCH CROUSE
Probbly the best in both processor and design

that's right. even jamin had longer life than the O2 Atom exec. HTC makes better, but without design. lets have a look to Kaiser Design. But now with the touch serious thinks changed

Have a look at HTC TOUCH CROUSE... Probably the best.

O2 have power saving problems. I am suggesting you all to try the htc Kaiser or the HTC touch Crouise. They come both with the same proccesor and they are the best in the market NOW

Which radio your using?

I have try 1.27.12.17 and 1.27.12.32

both works fine and well, I find 17 has better reciption and saves more power on my phone.

maybe if you know what you doing, upgread the redio,it will sove the problem. for me, this phone is a great little device !!

"I'm not optimistic since I've read other online comments on how poor the radio in the unit is."

No wonder you weren't impressed on how poor the radio is - it doesn't have a radio?

People deserve to know that this phone (or the one I got last week) has horrible reception. It's to the point that it's unusable. O2 is replacing the original unit, but I'm not optimistic since I've read other online comments on how poor the radio in the unit is.

This is very disappointing as the other features on the phone are generally good and it provides most of what I'd want in a smart phone. Previously, I had a Samsung i600 and never had reception problems.

Sometimes, I'll have four bars and yet no GPRS network. It's nuts. I can sometimes cure this by doing a soft restart, but I've done that so many times that it's become part of the routine to get the phone to even work at minimal levels.

Do not buy this phone or if you do, thoroughly test it out during the triall period. I will repost if this phone turns out to be a lemon based on the replacement phone I expect to receive today.

I'm a big fan of HTC, but in this instance, it's truly a dog.
