Don't Buy this phone or any other with Qualcomm MSMXXXX HTC has refused to develope proper drivers for the graphic processor built in which causes this phone to run at a substandard rate much lower than much older phones.

Think someone is stuck on HTC's to much, nothing wrong with the XDA's and they do the job well. If you treat your bit of kit with respect they will always work! I have never found a problem with the battery life of any of my O2 XDA's that I've had.

that's right. even jamin had longer life than the O2 Atom exec. HTC makes better, but without design. lets have a look to Kaiser Design. But now with the touch serious thinks changed
Have a look at HTC TOUCH CROUSE... Probably the best.

O2 have power saving problems. I am suggesting you all to try the htc Kaiser or the HTC touch Crouise. They come both with the same proccesor and they are the best in the market NOW

No wonder you weren't impressed on how poor the radio is - it doesn't have a radio?

People deserve to know that this phone (or the one I got last week) has horrible reception. It's to the point that it's unusable. O2 is replacing the original unit, but I'm not optimistic since I've read other online comments on how poor the radio in the unit is.
This is very disappointing as the other features on the phone are generally good and it provides most of what I'd want in a smart phone. Previously, I had a Samsung i600 and never had reception problems.
Sometimes, I'll have four bars and yet no GPRS network. It's nuts. I can sometimes cure this by doing a soft restart, but I've done that so many times that it's become part of the routine to get the phone to even work at minimal levels.
Do not buy this phone or if you do, thoroughly test it out during the triall period. I will repost if this phone turns out to be a lemon based on the replacement phone I expect to receive today.
I'm a big fan of HTC, but in this instance, it's truly a dog.

Purchased the stellar a few weeks ago and must say i'm quite impressed with it overall. I'm not going to criticise as i don't think anyone will ever find perfection in a PDA, but what I will say is that it does tend to freeze now and again.
I really like the google maps application when using the gps. I find it better than my sat nav! and you can view in satellite mode, which is really something!

hmm.. been using it for a few days.. one thing for sure as it is a PDA, the battery life is not that good.. but if you turn of the HSDPA and 3G, the batt life improve quite a lot.. I dont really like o2 theme.. try the HTC home tab and also HTC task manager.. The last cons is the speaker.. the sound quality is not as high as i expected but its not bad.. overall, ill give 8.5/10 to this phone.. just a lil bit worried abt the slide as i use to use o2 mini s and after a while the slide gets a lil bit loose.. anyhow.. good luck to the rest of you whose getting this phone :-) merrry christmas

1- how is the speaker and the inner speaker?"cuz i used to get calls and not hearing the caller loud and clear".
The speaker is not as good as the Atom's - I used to have to turn the volume down on my Atom and I have to check that it is at maximum to hear properly on the Stellar.
2- how is the battery life?
The battery life is noticeably worse than the Atom's and requires a car charger if you are using GPS for anything more than a couple of hours.
3- is the screen super sensitive about weather changes?
Not sure what you mean? If you mean can you see the screen in sunlight then yes to a certain degree (not had any bright sunshine though as I'm in the UK!). I would say that the screen is not that different to the Atom in performance terms.
4- where can i get one??? "still saying coming soon"
Now available from O2 - check out their website:

Hope this helps
