this device is greate, the anly thing is i forgot to test the VGA camera, it dossent work. now i have to ship it to singapore to repair it. before buying this phone be sure to check all the features.

I have zinc for a month and it works great. I just have one problem and I ho[pe that somebody can help.
when i talking on a phone other person can hear me well but when im listening opponent receiving some other noises and its loud.
any ideas how to solve that problem

Just got a Zinc and very much disappointed of this acquisition. It refuses to work. It hangs uninterruptedly and even after hard resets. Appears cannot handle the features in it. Is there a solution that it can work lest it would be a waste of money. Indisputably not a cheap buy and it would hurt if it is to be thrown in the dust bin. Dealer here in India refuses to do anything.

Hi everybody,
I have bought my O2 Zinc on Nov and have already send for services for 2 times. I have alot of problem with the phone but after the 2 times of services it seem ok at first but now the phone got problem again. For the first service my complain was the phone battery suddenly turn very HOT, the touch screen is functioning properly always hang and lot more of problem. The second service is that the line always cut off while I was half way throught the line. the speaker also very soft sometime. I did installed the CE star version for window 5 &6 but does that affect the phone itself. please help me on the phone really have headache with this O2 Zinc.Hope to hear from you all soon Thank you very much.

I bought my XDA O2 Zinc 4 months back, and I'am facing lot of problems with it. Whenever there is less than 3 hours of battery my cell gets hanged if I receive any call....when iam using other applications and I get a call my cell gets hanges....Pleaseeeeee...can any one understand my problem and help me...please....have i done a mistake in buying O2 XDA Zinc????

i am trying to plug my thumb nail drive into my utstarcome 6700 pda phone and get it to work anyone got any ideas
i made a usb cable that will plug any usb device in to it but i want to now how to get it to work please help

Hi Guys,
I bought this phone (my first PDA phone) and I am having problems with my battery. I noticed that a full charge will only last up to 5 hours. I've already brought it back to the store and they gave me replacement batteries. The new battery would last for approx 10 hours (very limited usage). Did anyone encountered the same problem? How were you able to resolve it?

i bought this pda a year ago.. yeah! wm5 sucks.. but after upgrading it to wm6 3 months ago it works excellent. and a 2gb storage card really2 help. but i do have two complaint on this pda:
1. the qwerty keyboard is not a finger friendly type, i had to press it hard on some of it and then it'll appear.. suck!!
2. now my free internal mem. is abt 20mb, i want to download through wifi some larger files which exceeds my free internal mem, is there a way you can download this files directly to the '2gig' storage card?
please help.. and email me for suggestion and link of some good software..

i bought the mobile on 28/09/07 and since i took it it have been in maintenance more than with me
the main proplem i face is:
1- when i try to call it tells : network service not available try again later wven when some body call it tells that the phone is off so i have to soft rest.
2- it hangs alot.
3- some times when i calls the speaker keep coming on & of and i cannot talk to the caller .
i appreciate if anybody can help me to get rid of this problems.

Yeah, this O2 Zinc has speaker function, when you make a call, please press and hold calling button for some seconds and speaker phone will be activated

does this pda has speakerphone? about 3 years ago I used O2 mini and satisfied with it (less problem found compared to dopod). I'm considering on getting O2 Zinc because it also has a qwerty keyboard. I don't really need the 'complicated' stuff, just the standard s: phone, messaging, mass storage (of course) and big screen. o yeah, and WiFi. I need that too. the rest i don't really mind :P thanks to whoever's reading and replying this post :)
