Hi, i was wondering if anyone could please help me.. i purchased the O2 XM yesterday and tried to upload an MP3 (songs changed into MP3 by itunes at 32 kbps if that helps).
i then transfered it to my phones memory card and took the USB cable out, attempted to play the song and... nothing, the blue bar moved about a millimetre and then stopped and didnt want to do anything else.
i dont want to have to return it, can anyone please help me?

Its a great phone for the price. O2 only ordered a minimum number so I am not surprised that Woolworths / others are out of stock. O2 should look at the new version.... I hear it has bluetooth and a 2m mega camera with even better sounds / accepts 2g memory cards.

ive tried to buy this phone on woolworths online site and its always out of stock, and kays is £10 more. is the camera any good as i wanted it for that and video recording, might change mind now i know video is only 9 sec. even my phone ive had for 2 year records 30 sec and that was bought for £75, so is it worth getting this phone??

Hi, I've had this phone for a while now, and think it is a GREAT phone. I have a question, does anyone know how the format of the videos and audio recordings can be changed? When i transfer to the computer they show up as quicktime.
And another thing, is it possible to transfer videos from the computer onto memory card :S and play on the phone?

Had this phone for a bit now and STILL can't send pictures - settings aren't available on the O2 website, though they're meant to be - anyone got any ideas how I can do this manually or will I have to take it to an O2 shop?

ive had this phone repaired now twice, would not reccomend the quality of the phone but would defeinately reccomend the facilities

Chris you are wrong, i upload all my Mp3s using my USB lead once its installed it'll show an extra drive in My Computer you just copy your mp3s over into the Music folder of the drive. Alternativly you could use the Sync function in Windows Media Player simply select the songs you want and then sync them this sends them to your phone using the USB.

u cant upload mp3s thru the usb cable its is unable 2 b done. u need a card reader

can you upload music from the sd card on the02xmto the pc,then put that music onto audio cd.technical services assures me it can be done but ive tried and cant do it can anyone help?

hic hic o2xm only make video with 9s.
it can't chage my memory to memory card.
Only use my memmory!!!!

i got the phone for christmas and it worked great until i came round to putting music on in da instructions it explained a box would come up but it didnt so how do u put music on

ive had this phone for a week now and its not as bad as every1 says but i am takin it back asap as in the contacts, when i try to put it in 2 groups, the ringtone i assign to the group wont play, also the pics i asign to peoples numas dont cum up!! this has got me frustrated 2 many times, my b/f reckons its my phone and recomend i take it back 2 get a new one, and if the nex1dntwork then am not havin dis phone lol otherthen dat the mp3 is ace!!! ace pics and jus ace algetha. if any1 can help me wiv the groups n contacts let me know.

ive just got this phone for xmaz and so far the only probz is dat da video is only 9secs!!! but otha then dat is gr8, ur music u download off pc has to be mp3, otherwise it wnt work. u can turn the blue flashing light(on the front) off, by goin 2 settings, display, light, it does save ur battery life more if u do dat.2 send mms u av to go on2 o2 to get settings for da phone. othawise gud phone,love da free earphones which alows to listen to da songs.gud choice phone,dnt be afraid, if need me email me.

bought this phone for daughter for xmas for 79.99 using it as mp3 with 512mb sd card camera same res as her dads xda2i can use mp3s from sd card as ringtone ordered myself on from kays for 89.99 got 30%code taking 27.00 off total of 62.00 great value phone does everything and works well

i was quite dissapointed with it as it looked wel gd but da camera is crap n the video is lik 9 secs!?!?!?!

Quite good phone, nice music player, predictive text annoying as it saves accidental mis-spellings. Video can only last 9 seconds, no longer. Battery life is pretty bad, mine lasts about 2 days unused. You need to save the number to the sim card to get the name to come up when someone rings you. Cant get many games for it. With usb cable it comes up as 2 removable disks, the first one is the phone, the second is the memory card, put mp3s on the second one. All in all, quite happy, except it gets scratched quite easily. Plus some videos put on phone from computer can randomly stop or break up, when actually they are fine on the computer.
