Hi. How to reformat/hard reset the O2 Xphone II?
Actually my Xphone "cant read and send sms", so I think by reformat/ hard reset the phone, it can overcome this prob. thanx

Got one yday...Win2003 SE is good..msn chat works fine and connecting with usb cable to my laptop(on broadband)..i can browse fine without gprs..without any settings done..clearvue gives office applications reader option..and msn chat works perfect..outlook sync with laptop and imap mails works good...so good one i guess for Rs 14,800 ???

hi everybody i got this phone a day back i loaded my mp3s and when i try to play them the player shows the searching symbol for a very long time i dont know wat to do i have to restart the to solve this .need help.............

i just got this phone 2days ago, its nice, but why is the speaker sounds very bad when playing mp3 and wav tones or real tones? then when i insert the headset or earphone converter to try playing music, the speaker also playes music. how can i disable speaker? tnx pls email me

Had used this phone for over a year and a half now and recently upgraded to the O2 Atom Exec. Keeping my Xphone 2 as a spare phone. Its hard for me to part ways with it. Still love the phone. ;)

hey! its too cool phone i am using it,it is very economical phone which is very easy too use.but it has only one disadvantage of camera,this doesnt hv mega pixel camera which is needed

Customise Contact ringtone.
I have all my ringtone in my storage card.
I hear the same ringtone (wma,midi,mp3)even though I have customer my contacts, see them iin the list.
For sms, alarm, no problem with customiation.
ANy suggestions?.

I have just tried phone with an orange and then virgin sim card to see whether phone is locked.

Both worked but now I've put my o2 sim card back in the network ID comes up as virgin and I can't find a way of gettin O2 back. Is this a bug? The phone works but just displays the incorrect network name I think the network number is 23410?

dear new owner. this is quite an old model. i'm using this phone for about a year now. some explanation for those who don't know.
1. no usb driver needed. install activesync 3.8 and plug your phone. won't work with activesync 4 since it was tailored for wm5. yes, you can sync using bluetooth.
2. no mp3 ringtone. only wma and wav. so sad o2 didn't come with ROM update. BUT you can replace your ROM with others e.g. imate. anyway this void your warranty.
3. default file manager won't allow bluetooth transfer. need to install third party.
4. auto GPRS, WAP, MMS setting can be done at data connection at start menu.
5. for the reminder thingy, try google for maniac auto keylock (freeware).
i think that's it. just caring to share some information. TQ.
