This is the best phone ever - I just love this phone, its simple, reliable and it does exactly what it's suppose to. The battery life is superb - I only charge my phone once a week and the sound quality is great. This is really a phone worth having.

how to activate my gprs. its so difficult to open, theres a lot of prosses,,is there any way of getting this,in easier way?

hi thalib, i still use 3100 until now. first, Try to Restore Factory Settings (under Menu Settings). if the phone ask for security code: 12345. automatically restarted.
then, locate Menu Settings>>Phone Settings>>Network Selection. change it to Manual n it will begin to search within ur local network. after awhile, it shows a list of network, n u may choose that match with ur SIMcard.
bar of signals may appear on standby mode.
if this fail to work, i think u may replace the RF IC or bring it to local nokia aftersales ask them to do it. anyway, i assume ur position of home or whereever u r isn't a blank spot of signal.

Amazing phone. Had it for about 5 years i think. Still my phone today. All buttons still work fine. Battery lasts for about a week on standby. Superb phone. Will be my only phone until i need to upgrade if i become a business man or something. Excellent and does the job well. :)

there is a need to clean a part in the cellphone . i think it is the gold plates where you place the sim card..

how i miss this phone... im not using this anymore because it has a problem with the signal and im not having it repaired yet. i used this phone for almost 5 years...

it is a good hand .it is less weight and very small .so we can use it easily.so you must avoid your other set and by it .you feel good experiance
