Oppo find 7 can be found on Amazon for $620.OO. So, the difference is screen resolution - OnePlusOne is 1920 by 1080. The only thing with Plus, you have to get an invitation or buy it from the Chinese website for $399.
Although the battery life is a concern it's not like it takes long to charge ^_^ . Hopefully when I buy this phone for my birthday I'm going to try and also get a spare battery. And for the official spare battery its not a lot for the real deal. And it least it is removable _____
which one is much cheaper Oppo find 7 or Oneplus One?
Does anyone knows the price for both units?
Sahilk, 19 Sep 2014Well I am completely disagree with you, I have been using this phone since 20 days now and my ... moreSome people consider these phones being gaming consoles and run 3D games on them, which of course flatten the battery in no time, no matter what you're using.
In my case I get both 7 and 7a lasting over a day on average, with 7a comfortably running for 2 days with double digit percentage to spare.
But obviously I don't play games on it.
One side note though - it's 35C or so outside here, and when phone is in a silicon case and you're doing a 4K video recording, the case does get hot.
I would recommend anyone attempting 4k video recording to take it out of the case completely or use one that can disperse heat. Soft cases generally cannot, and cook the phone.
Unlike Sony Z2 which lasts 5-10 minutes before putting the heat warning on the screen and refusing to use camera any longer, Find 7 did go on for much longer time without complaints, but it did get hot to the point it was very uncomfortable to hold.
However - that is expected. And I don't know any phone (or even a proper camera) that doesn't heat up in 4k recording.
That was side note, the main note is supposed to be that in 4k video recording mode the battery life also isn't going to be spectacular.
But you could still get away with several hours of recording before it exhales.

HITESH7298, 29 Sep 2014i am using lg g3 should i replace it with opp find 7
reply ???????Find 7 has less (or rather no) lag in the UI, and less processed photos from otherwise near identical camera sensor.
Metering on LG is better, overall pic quality of Oppo beats LG anytime.
13 MP mode is very good in decent light, the 50 MP mode is somewhat grainy but still squeezes out a lot more details than 20.7 MP Sony Z2.
Battery life is the weakest point of Find 7. Your G3 lasts nearly twice as long as Find 7 would.
Find 7a is a bit better, lasting some 40-50% longer than Find 7, at the expense of lower res screen, mostly.
So you'll get somewhat snappier interface and better camera in good lighting and lose some battery life.
I won't get into gimmicks like waving over the screen to switch pages, or drawing gestures on the screen, or as these are a matter of taste.
Ken, 29 Sep 2014Is it true that the Oppo Brand is from USA? or it is from China?
Oppo Digital (the one that makes Bluray players) is from USA.
The Oppo Mobile (the one that makes phones) is from China and is using the same logo, but it is not the same company.
So yes, it's Chinese. That said - their thinking is very un-Chinese...

Your opinion on this is appreciated.

Switched from my iphone 5 to Find 7 without any regrets, however just one question when will android 4.4.4 is coming for this phone also is oppo thinking to bring android L to this phone(as the specs are already high enough)?
i bought this phone and specifications are really good..There is some issue with touch pad as need to press tightly
The display speed and quality of this phone is good. however, phone does not give performance as per its specification of 3 gb ram, it is quite slow as compare to LG G ro 2 which has 2 gb of ram, I am facing another problem i.e. double tap of home screen does not work every time you require multiple tab to lock the screen. 50 MP shoot camera is not as good as it is being show case by oppo.
i already been using this phone about 5 days .. This phone for me is so beast . The performance are awesome when i randomly on every application . Remains smooth and steady . especially the Rapid Charger ,i will give that Rate 10/10 for the charger .when my phone is 0 percent .i charge to 26 percent in about 10 minute . i previously a Sony user. not regret of switching to it .. the cons of this phone is that too much thing to learn ..But once u used to it ..this phone is great . -Just my plain Opinion-
Plz any one tell me which Phnom I get??? I need superfast and best Phn plz help
Find 7 is a good looking fone. many people want this because of their specs. but people also thinking about the battery life. price of of oppo find 7 and samsung s5 is not that much difference. if i am going to buy ill go for samsung for the quality of all their parts. So, oppo why dont you give a low price? if we compare it to branded well to branded just to add a small amount of money.
Well I am completely disagree with you, I have been using this phone since 20 days now and my battery backup is lasting more than 20 hours even using 3G and Wifi, if I go for extensive use still it is giving me minimum 9-12 hours back every time from the last charge. I don't know why this is with you. It's pretty beautiful and high ended spec smartphone .. more over there is always a gap when you choose between battery back up or screen size and pixel density... you have too choose what you want on priority basis... why dont you just put phone's brightness on lowest side and let the phone get switched off after complete battery drain and then do fully recharge at least 3 times repeating the same step I m sure you will get the best battery backup...
