do not ever buy this phone. lots of problems not a very fast phone. the new one should be the best one.

Do not buy it. I had it, I faced a trouble since one day the device don't turn on and after 3 months, lot of phone bills and no customer support at all, the official Palm reseller told me that it is impossible to fix it. technology is not grown enought to sell the product and Palm should know it.

I'v been usin it 4 da last 3mnths. One thin um facin now 4 da last few days is touchscreen/tapping isn't responsive. Most of the time I found it not working & suddenly it started workin. N u guys kn v'well dat widout tappin itz hard 2 work wid treo. Is dat a software/hardware probs? Wht shud I do r8 now? help me asap

btw the palm os works pretty well...why do you want to change it...windows 5 is buggy right now and already we are looking at wm 6 on the cards.
also do you have a unlocked phone >> in case no then do not even think about changing any of the software

Well, i work on a cell phone company and i´ve had a problem with 80% of the treo 750 I have selled. Not with 650, nor 680, so I guess windows is the problem (if my pc crashes why my cell wouldn´t?). So i´m wandering if anyone knows if there is a patch or a way to upgrade th OS version.

OK. Everyone having problems with your treos there is a simple and effective way to fix your Treo.
Take a hammer (the bigger the better) and smash the thing to pieces.
Then buy yourself a good phone with renowned reliabilty.
Very satisfying!!
We had a treo smashing session in the office the other day when our new nokias arrived!!

we are having exactly the same issues + one phone you can hear unless its on loudspeaker, and both of them when you press a button it takes around 3-4 seconds for the phone to respond.
You are absolutley correct these phones are CRAP. If you are reading this and looking to buy a treo save your money by something else

I have been using a palm750 since 14 Feb/08.
of late about i week ago, some of the tones aint sounding like when a call comes in, the ringtone will not be heard but the call will be flashing on screen. i am missing out on many calls now. Any person out there with similar issue? help!!
