The best PDA for professionals on go. Ask any professional if he need a 5 Mega Pixel cam and WiFi or accesibility and one hand operation with stability that 750 provides. This PDA is not for all these highschoolers crying about WiFi and please dont be mislead by there crapy opinions. Treo 750 is HSDPA device and Cingular would be launching HSUPA as soon as Mar 07 and with unlimitied PDA access for $39.99 for speeds close to 1MB for downloads as well as uploads you would be stupid to cry about WiFi that bounds you to be in a hot spot.
I love this PDA and would recommend it over HTC TyTn not only because one hand operation but also because of screen resolution and much easier funtionality of phone.

I just had a look at the wikipedia website searching for treo 650's story, i saw some word 'Zen of Palm'. I saw these words before, but i didnt understand what it mean. So i clicked on it, a large article appeared. Didnt know why..?...
After reading through that article, i understand what are Palm's own unique principle and concept when it come to design products and softwares, which are opposite those of HTC. U will know what does 80/20 means, and why palm reduce cost of production, and why convinience and usability surpass long feature-list in many way.
To be honest, i was a 650 user, enjoyed its ease of use and simplicity. But disappointed when i saw 750v. But No matter what happens, i m still a palm loyal fan. If it is possible, i will still buy 750v in the future even though i m actually a real power user of PDA. I just cant find a reason why i m so attracted to treo and nothing else, Even if i already know 750v is the lowest specced PDA in the world.
I strongly recommend u people who dont understand why Palm designed and released 750v, and why Palm kept the same form factor, and why no wifi inc, to have a search on wikipedia for 'Zen of Palm'. Until then, u people who complained will know why 650 and 700wx and 750v are still the best sellers and most important players in PDA industry and business world.
'zen of palm' is still ALIVE.
That article is very comprehensive. Hope many of u enjoy that.

Hai... Its a pity to know that the new 680 got a much thinner battery than 650. But u people might try to use 650's battery on 680, the only way to charge battery less and keep 680 for longer(i ve seen some reviews saying that it works!). I been using i320 for 1 month, battery is even worse, not even last a day, sometimes charge twice a day for intensive use(lucky samsung provide a spare one), but without touchscreen its not flexible sometimes. Poor battery really make me not willing to use it any longer, and wanna sell it. I strongly reckon that touchscreen and one-handed are both very important for everyday use.
Being a p990i user as well, sick of no one-handed operation.
So treo series is the best combination of above things.
I still dont know why many of those people out there still use stylus to navigate.?? I even hardly use stylus on my p990i! Just finger is ok for me. But its battery last for ever! 2 days of INTENSIVE use. And it integrate everything, cant complain about it.
To be honest, i cant even be bothered to slide out the keyboard on my mini-s. Owning 650 for 1 year already, the longest one ever. It was a pity i sold it.. Still think about it when i see my friend's one. Bad decision.. I miss its perfect screen and keyboard, let along one handed.
Hai...... Wanna get a tytn or 750v, cant decide yet. When i see 750, i always fall in love with it and think i will buy it immediately. hate the 240x240 though, Only reason that prevent my prompt decision. Really wanna go back to palm os, but no wap, and crapy blazer, and lack of multitasking, and system instability disappoint me. And meantime waiting for the next generation palm access platform to come out as well, maybe not avail till 2008, hope it can improve those palm os shortcomings.
Battery short on my p990i(using it for 2 days after 1 charge)! Gotta go. Bye.

For wifi capabilities, you need to buy a wifi card. No software can do it, as the wifi capabilities are built in. This would take care of it: http://store.palm.com/sm-wi-fi...1853744.html

i'll buy this one coz its made by PALM despite bad quality buttons and keyb.750 and 680 used together will produce the best experience.i really hope PALM can combine both 750 and 680 into one platform called Palm Access Platform next year.that will include multitasking & all palmos apps & all windows funtions & treo750 design & 320x320 & onehanded navigations. im sure im the first one to buy it!

Outdate processor, two years-back camera, wifiless, korean made like battery life, but ironicly the price is competing 838pro. What more can I say for this babe, it's just completly yesterday technology with tomorrow price ;P. Go fot it Palm, keep on losing your customers.

Simply said: PALM SUCKS! This phone is designed for those who don't care about technology, this is for an old guy that just need to browse internet for business while being paid by the office, who dont care about the knits and bolts like wi-fi etc. yeah ya rite, it's for an old guy that quality is #1 priority. It's like western-branded mercedes that doesnt have high-tech features that asian-branded infiniti (in this case HTC) has...

A friend of mine purchased a supposedly unlocked 750v and started running BB Connect for a week or so and then it just stopped working. Apparently if you are not on Vodafone SIM then it will locked itself after about 2 weeks. This has been confirmed with both Palm, Vodaone and RIM. However, the phone works but not BB Connect. So make sure you know what you are getting into before buying.

I have just got the 750 and loaded my contacts (8,800 of them). This makes the search (e.g. when writing e-mails) painfully slow - 5-10 seconds compared to one or less on a blackberry. It makes the device unusable. Does anyone know how to improve this (don't bother saying the obvious "have less contacts") or is this device not just made for this? Thanks

i've been using an unlocked 750v from Vodofone on Cingular and T-Mobile for over a month and it's been working great. i chose the 750v based on functionality; form is a bonus... exceptional call volume and clarity, push email works great and - as others have said - the palm tweaks enhance the one-handed capabilities.

this is the best PDA i've used, period.
