> In reply to rustyle @ 2009-02-11 01:34 from qNpeI was having problems receiving files too but I could send. The solution: on the Palm go to Start->Settings->Connections->Beam then tick "receive all incoming beams" should do the trick.

phone is great except for the clustered keypad and the weak stylus already broke mine less than a month

Having switched from a 750V (with all its problems sorted), I was looking forward to a great leap forward with the Pro. Yes it has all the wizzy things the modern exec needs (but rarely uses). However I am now in a quandry as all my colleagues with E71's doubt my decision making skills. The case on my pro has started to crack in several places, this is despite me buying one of those velvet lined aluminium holders, additionally the sync facility locks up and then requires a reset. Also every time the gprs drops out I get a message come up on the screen telling me so, the only problem with this is that it opens a new window to tell me so each time. So before I can actually use any other function I have to close these windows. Finally whats happened to the smileys for the sms texting? Had it with the 750v now its gone!!!!!! Seems to me that Palms quality has gone down, perhaps maybe reminiscent of the Titanic.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-01-24 17:14 from mprwMy friend, if you have used your old Tungsten to sync the contacts with the MS Office Outlook on your PC, then there's no problem. You sync the new Palm with your PC. Otherwise, check the palm site support.

I have a palm tungsten e2 handheld which holds all my addresses. I use this and a simple mobile phone. If I drop the simple phone and change to a treo pro will I be able to transfer my data to it and use that as my only device? Any advice welcomed.

> In reply to Leng @ 2008-11-28 14:25 from v0Xtgoing from the 680 to Pro is going to be some step considering the Pro is a windows mobile os, but if you looking at the Pro for status or aesthetic reason then you should get it, but if its for business then just stick to what you know for now, which in my opinion for you would be the Palm Centro 685
