nice color screen and can load own pix, BUT display spoilt by word 'ORANGE' across screen. Believe text can be removed on other phones [ie nokia] but cant find how to clear screen in A500 menue. Can anyone advise?
PS battery life at 2.5 days max is really disapointing

Can we send JAVA applications by InfraRed?? If no, then how? Is there any workaround/software,etc to send a JAVA application by IR or SMS??

dont you all thing that all clamshells should have interchangable covers like this. or even have a permanant design like this. even high-end ones. that would probably make phones sell

the covers quite nice - other than that, the ph is not that special! personally, when they intergrated a camera into a ph they did society a great service!keep up with technology, some people just want a ph with no features but people like me like all these added benefits a ph can give!!

For your info, this phone is not compatible with U-S carries. So, Don't waste your money one this phone if u live in the U-S:). I am so regret after I bought this phone from UK.

zinlinmaung, press a button on the side and the lid will flip open automatically. not really useful but cool.

Great phone, got one from Singapore a few months back...only dispointing thing about it is of course the lack of camera ( oh well for the price tis great ) and the extremely POOR battery life....your lucky to get two full days out of this phone even if it isnt used in that period of time...
great looks, great size, and nice colourful Leds colour coordinated lights that flash when your talking, get a message etc....
interchangable face plates are great also...
Has a very nice flip to it, clicks and everything...

The button machanism is at the left side of the hinge. Look at that silver button on the left side near the attena?
Just press this button, n it flip open.
Some 1 from Toronto want to buy it from me at S$300.
This phone comes with No Camera. Cater for those who want a "pure" phone.
