Great phone, got one from Singapore a few months back...only dispointing thing about it is of course the lack of camera ( oh well for the price tis great ) and the extremely POOR battery life....your lucky to get two full days out of this phone even if it isnt used in that period of time...
great looks, great size, and nice colourful Leds colour coordinated lights that flash when your talking, get a message etc....
interchangable face plates are great also...
Has a very nice flip to it, clicks and everything...

The button machanism is at the left side of the hinge. Look at that silver button on the left side near the attena?
Just press this button, n it flip open.
Some 1 from Toronto want to buy it from me at S$300.
This phone comes with No Camera. Cater for those who want a "pure" phone.

to all those who have bought Panasonic A500...i just wanna know if there are any downside regarding this phone "A500", coz I'm planning to buy one, i think this phone is so compact and light, it's so slim. besides no camera, are there any other problems? because for me, camera in a phone is not important at all. i like it's
ONE-PUSH auto open feature so much...thanks!

well, its kinda stupid carrying both phone and camera at the same tym when u can have it together! lighter, more sensible and convienient. if u want to use the phone, u take out the phone, if u want to use the camera, u take out the phone as well! dont have to dig deep for the camera, besides, u payless for a camera hpone than when u pay it separate. use your common sense... if u have any;p

Well, I will have to agree with with stardust... Ppl can buy a camera instead.. But u see ppl would have to carry both camera and a fone at the same time.. So wouldn't it be more comfortable to carry a fone with a camera.. Although it is a good combination its not that reliable.. the cameras for a fone are not so clear.. But now there are megapixel camera fones.. which is way better now.. So u can consider buying camera fones...

A camera is not important in a cell, because if you wanna take pics , you buy a camera ....People that like cameras on cells are insane !
Not that its no good, but its not necessary...theres more important features than that

i think not necessary a phone must has a camera wiht it. there are still users that don't need a camera at all. so this phone is still best.
