This phone is the shit!!!!!!! I love it. People always comment good on it. The only thing that sucks about it is that somtimes when people call you, it rings, but when you answer it, it hangs up on them. Only sometimes, the chances of it happening are like 20% out of 100%. It is not JUST my phone, my cousin has this phone too and he told me the same thing. This phone still rocks baby!!!!!!!

I understand that this fone has no keypad light. Therefore g50 is better and more practical and BETTER LOOKING!

I've had this model for a few months now and it's a talking point amongts friends because of it's size but it's not terribly practical...but then again, you dont buy this phone for its practicality.

u can download ringtones & wallpapers from your service provider or panasonicbox.com. Panasonic Box has a wap site but only accessible from the Philippines if you are willing to pay the service provider's access charges.
As for the phone having no display, either blank black or white screen, it's a software problem. Had to have mine repaired by the local distributor. Luckily it was still under warranty. When i got it back, it was as if it was new. guess it had to be reformatted. All of my settings & info that was phone dependent was erased

Hi, I just got this phone brand new, but unfortunatly it wont take a charge. I returned the phone for a new one and is now doing the same thing again. I have taken sim card out and it charges for few seconds then turns off, any suggestions?

Good little phone. Keypad IS lit with blue.
Yes, keylock is easily turned off if left in back pocket.
Menus are well set out and intuitive. Small buttons take a while to get used to but are not cumbersome at all once you are familiar. Excellent battery life.

Just got the phone from Ebay, supposedly 2 months old. Everything works great but the phone has NO SOUND whatsoever. No ringtones, no keypad tones, warning tones. When receiving calls it does vibrate if I set it to. but no ringers. Anyone knows a quick fix for this?

Great phone from panasonic,
I used it for 6 months, with no comlaints.
For "no service" problem, from the phone menu, check the operational band (900/1800, 900/1900, etc). most probably from the phone settings. regards

I have had the Panasonic G51 for a month now, but have just reverted to my old GD55. The only reason is that the Keyguard Lock is unreliable. It often unlocks in my posket as it is the same key that needs to be pressed twice to unlock the keys. As it is on a rocker key it accidentally unlocks itself and you could easily end up with a phone call being made. This never happened with the GD55. I spent so much time checking if the phone was locked or not that I've reverted. Has this happened to anybody else in the world?

I got this phone as a present from ebay. It's a cute phone but it keeps turning itself off when it's charging (even when i'm using it to talk to somebody)! The phone also freezes sometimes and the only way you can start using the phone again is to pull the battery off and put it back on. Maybe I just ended up with a dodgy phone? Otherwise it's pretty good. It would be great if it supported MMS.
