this must be one of the ugliest phones ever... ewww. its even got a pointy thing at the top. i dont think i would EVER recommend this phone to anyone.

needs help with my phone loves the look but is a pain in the but*.read most of the reviews and everyone seems to have the same problems basically,especially with the static jenny from page1 seems to have it figured out maybe she can help me,and maybe panasonic should recall them all and give us back our money or a new phone.

This phone looks cool, and friends told me that they really liked it. The preformance on the phone plan sucks. It's annoying to change the text messaging from chinese to english, but it's not terrible at all. Also, I never get good service. I never get static as other people have said though. I have Cingular, maybe the phone would be better if I had a different service. I also greatly dislike how the address book works. Other phones organize this much better.

I bought this phone for my wife, it broke in less than one month. The screen went blank and wouldn't light up anymore. Everything still works and we can still dial out and receive calls. However the screen is dark and will not display anything at all (the outside screen which gives you the time and reception etc works fine).
The online vendor (eXpansys.ca) refused to take any responsibilities. I contacted Panasonic Canada they said this is not a product they distribute and told me to contact Panasonic China. Just shipping cost to and from will be as much as the phone itself so I don't think I will send it to China for fixing!
Does anyone know of any ways of fixing this problem? Some of you said you've fixed the G70 a couple times. Do you know where I can send it to (in Canada) for fixing? Thanks alot in advance of any feed back!

right, get this... me mates Tanya and Merisha had dis phone right, it was well wierd when dey were texting cus dey looked like they was typin on a mirror or summit lol... But now dey bowf sold dem cus dey was annoyin 4 textin right... Now one has da Nokia 3220 and one as da nokia 8910i. Kepeash

i dont think i would ever buy this cr*p phone. looks ugly imagine talking into it while walking down the street ppl would be like (s)he's talking to a mirror. one word DISGUSTING!

I bought this phone when it first came out. Cost me $460CDN! Only like it cuz it looks different and whenever you push up the mirror appears. Other than that, the static is horrible! It really depends on which phone company your with in order to have "good reception". Because you would have to look at the bandwith. Textin isn't so bad as some people describe it. Although the manual is in chinese, it was pretty easy for me to figure everythin out. You are able to type in english. Because I had a friend who had the same phone we were able to compare the flaws together. The buttons on the phone sticks out to much in a result that it scratches the mirror over time. I know quite a bit about this phone so msg me if you have any questions. I hate it yet i love it...only keepin it for the looks..

Love it. However, don't know if its just my phone but I get sooooo much static - sometimes hard to hear caller. Does anyone else have this problem - can it be fixed ?

I have just got this phone but am having trouble with texting. On my Nokia if I wanted to type a word that had ' in it I would just type the symbol button like I was typing a letter and it would pick it up. I don't seem to be able to do this on the G70 but I am sure there must be a way. Please help.

Just received this phone and I do like the feature of having a mirror. I was wondering if anyone that has this phone knows if when you switch to mirror mode is there a button or something to push that lights up around the mirror part? Also, in the manual it has a picture of the top and it says illuminated back light. Well the thing that sticks out at the top of mine does not light up at all.
I was wondering if anyone knows if it is suppose o or not.

hey, i have bought this phone a year ago but i have been fixing this phone for 7 times already and still the bad reception (static) is not fixed. I couldnt hear the caller and they cant hear me, i think this phone is a Panasonic's failure phone. The reception is useless and i guess that doesn't make it a phone at all! the screen is also really hard to see in a bright place because the screen reflects the light.

This panasonic g70 i bought about a year ago, but during the year i had to fix it for 7times (really!) because of the worst reception but still its not resolved so i have given up and bought a new phone. It really made me mad because you cant hear the caller and they cant hear you! only the large buzzing sound really annoying, also the screen unless its at night or in dark places, you cant see it because the reflects the light and you cant see it. I wouldnt recommend it to anybody, i think this was panasonic's failed phone.
