I am still using this phone and it works perfect. Though the Antenna was broken a long back it's still working like before.
Though it can't be compared with the Hi-Tech phones available in the market now a days, but it's one of the best in it's segment.

Also my first phone back in 1999/2000. It was great even when the antena broke down. It was kicked, slamed and used in various conditions, but it was still working. Where did Panasonic gone, bad :(.

i've had my gd30 for 6 years now... my mom-in-law still uses one though her antenna has broken off... i use mine as a back-up phone... changed the original batt a couple of years ago... couldnt find an original anymore and am using a generic one now... simple, basic and very solid phone =)

This phone is exellent. I've had it for 5 years now, and it still works without any flaw. Just had to change battery. Not so rich in functions, but consider release year!

An old phone, slim on the features, and the battery is dated. What's awesome about it is the logical user interface, and the fact that it is indestructable. My GD30 has gone down flights of concretete stairs without issues.
