I tried different brands over the years and I can only say that if you want a good, reliable phone with the basic features you need, a Panasonic is the best choice. Although there are some models in the product line-up which are not as good as the others (compare a GD67 to a GD75), a Pana is still the best in quality! Even Nokia can't compete with Panasonic and I can know it! If all that matters to you are ringtones and logos, you should try another toy.

Believe it or not, a Panasonic survives even a fall in the toilet! I've seen it with my own eyes!

This phone is not very good. It has short battery life and it doesn't have SMS character counter, so you have big trouble writing sms which is close to 160 characters but not over it.

If you're a Belgian customer, you can download ringtones and logos for your Panasonic thanks to the mobile operator Mobistar. Almost all Panasonic models from the latest generation (to start with GD75) are compatible. Check your local operator to see if he does the same. The service is provided by the same operator with Panasonic, Digiplug.

I bought this fone when it came out, under the illusion that it would be very easy to 'personalise', now I've used the free ringtone offer, and wap is expensive, I'de say it's really hard to find anything remotly good for this fone, I aint dissing the quality, just the availability of accessories for it...

That just about sums this phone up! It's fine if you just want to talk and text but to personalise it... no chance!
