I've had this phone for about 8 months and it was ok. Reception on it wasn't as good as I would've hoped because it is a tri-band and I am from Canada. However the best feature of the phone would have been the camera and the display settings. Nice colour and a 2.0 MP camera =)

Didn't like the casing...Had an all black casing and looked like plastic too. Other than that it was a pretty nice phone!

i find it quite good actually. hve had it for close to half a yr now. although more memory should be provided to at least allow one whole song to be input. but hey, if i had wnated more memory i would have gotten a phone with an expandable memory ryt.. (:

To answer how to check the SW version of VS6
1. Power off the phone.
2. Power on the phone.
3. Type " *#9999#" should be within 10 second

The latest version for VS6 is VS6_VQ26.

this phone is so great! great looks and very slim and light-weight. i like it so much. this is so complete. plays mp3. i can even download applications from the net. yeah, i know the scratch on the top problem. but still it's a great phone anyway.

I bought this phone 2 months ago, and found its screen resolution superb along with camera which give me hard times on occasions. Its real bad thing is lack of ability to play mp3 downloaded from pc. And second its top flap is flimsy, and awkward. If economy and style are the preference then it is the choice!!!

To John: I also have scratches on the phone and this happens every time you open and close the phone. This might be a little construction fault but it's still a great phone, even with the little scratches on it.

The Panasonic VS2 has a good interface, the nice text. Does the VS6 use the same fonts and user interface? I hate fat ugly font like Nokias used to have. Please email me eastsider90@hotmail.com thanks!!!

I have a ‘Blue Soleil’ dongle which locates and transfers all files and photos from my husbands Samsung. When I plug in the VS6, it will locate the phone, but it will only send the business card, I can’t get it to let me transfer files. I have checked the phones visibility and Bluetooth is on, but still no joy. We have now bought a usb cable & downloaded the Panasonic phone manager from their site, but even that says – trying to locate phone. How do you transfer your files, I just want to save some photos!
