hello i got my panasonic x500 last few day, and i starting using my phone. but my problem is i dont know how to you GPRS in panasonic X500 can any one teach me on how to activate my GPRS so that i can access wap.

I still cannot access any WAP sites and attempting to do so gets me a "Network Error" message. I have set the following parameters in my mobile :-
Server Name: Airtel Live!
Data Bearer: GPRS
Access Point Name: airtelfun.com
Login name: 919862006017 (my mobile no.)
Prompt Password: *This option is not available in my mobile*
Password: < blank >
Homepage: http://live.airtelworld.com
Connection Security: *This option is not available in my mobile*
Session Mode: *This option is not available in my mobile*
Phone IP Address: *This option is not available in my mobile*
Primary IP: 100.1.200.99
Primary Port:8080
Secondary IP: *Cannot set it to 0.0.0.0 as my mobile does not accept*
Secondary Port:*Cannot set it to 0 only from 1024 to 65535*
Linger Time: Can set it from 30 to 9999
Authentication: None and PAP available;I tried both.
Proxy server address:*This option is not available in my mobile*
Proxy port number: *This option is not available in my mobile*
Secondary proxy port number:*This option is not available in my mobile*
I would therefore be greatly obliged if this problem is resolved ASAP, preferably with the help of some customer who is having exactly same phone and using Airtel Mobile Services.

hi and hello in many languges.i have a panasonic X-500 it was a nice cell phone and every thing. BUT I realy dont like the video cause it doesnt have voice in it when u look what u have recorded so i am going to get nokia phone which has that

its a good phone but the only disadvantage of x-500 is it doesnt support a memory card

By brother gifted me the phone, he bought it from Singapore 2 months back. It was a cool phone and very funky. After 2 months one its display went BOOM. Just a white screen no display. In India I was not able to find out an authorised Panasonic service guy.

n Need help! Cant get photos or video on to computer. Bought phone in Thailand. Was told no Panasonic USB cable available so bought 'fake'. Cant get it working. Australian dealers never seen or heard of x500. Has anyone solved this problem? HELP PLEASE!

The data connection assistance version 5 has different modems for different models of Panasonic but which should i use for model X500 model. I am not able to connect to GPRS.

Hi, i have a phone like this for abt 2 months, would juz like to share some basic info that i feel that is not so good in this phone. Hope you guys will not mind :)
1. When i am calling in a noisy place, i always hear my own background through the phone, and the other party's voice sounds very unclear that sometimes i mistaken my dad for my mum!
2. My friend complained to me that when talking to me on this phone, my voice will sound very filttered and unclear.
3. The messaging is not good. Although it has dictionary in sms, but it cannot save the words that you want in the dictionary like Nokia and Samsung can. Some words like "nite", which they don't have, you would have to switch to the non-dic format then type it one by one.
4. The voice recording is VERY limited and like a few seconds only.
5. The ringing tones are very soft and little variety!
6. There is NO video recording at all! (which i do not understand why it is stated that it has on this website)
7. Playing games consume ALOT of battery. I only play 2 games of reversi after charging full, then the battery becomes half!
Overall: Sleek, small, usable, nice design, cute, light, good VGA as compared to other VGAs i've seen so far. You should get it if you like a phone to be small, compact, and high-class looking!

I dont like the panasonic x500 i cant send or recive pictures maessages, it was ment for contratc phones but i have a pay as u go sim inside, for 02, do anyone know the codes. and when is this coming out in the shops, because i cant find anything for it.

i have just bought the panasonic x500 and love it. there's just one problem i can't send mms or use my wap. it was an o2 phone but i have changed it to vodafone ireland. would anyone know the setting for it. thanks

i have and x-500 cell phone,but i can not record a sound and set it as a ring tone because that opion is not found in my phone whereas it is written in the phone manual book,what can i do,thanks.

I bought this phone but was not really impressed with its features. if you recieve a ringtone you can save it but not have it set as your ring tone. in regards to accessories they are really hard to find and the talk time is only about an hour so you would have to charge the phone up every night

hi everyone i liked this phone a lot his cam specially take a nice pictures,but i had a problem can't find a way for it ,,i want to transfer a numbers from my sim card to a phone but i don't wanna to transfer one by one i want to transfer all as it's in nokia phones is there a way for....
