> In reply to Rockever101 @ 2009-07-04 19:59 from jSaZ - click to readWell, the Pantech Duo is a smart phone, meanwhile the Matrix is just a regular phone. The Duo runs Windows Mobile & the Matrix runs a standerd program. The Duo is kind of old now so if you did want a Duo, you should just go for the Pantech Matrix Pro which is a newer version of the dule sliding Smart Phone. Hope I helped.

I've had this phone for about 2 months now. I got the red one. I LOVE IT!! A few times now while deleting my text msgs, it seems to freeze and I have to turn it off and back on but that's only happened 3 times and only if I've had over 60+ read or sent msgs. I usually have bad luck with my phones so I'll keep you informed if something goes wrong. Oh, and my 12 year old has the same phome only blue and she loves hers too. Great phone!!!!

> In reply to JONAH @ 2009-06-16 18:47 from 0hFg - click to readYeah, you just can't save the names under SIM. When you add a new contact, save it under PHONE and you can edit from there.

> In reply to JONAH @ 2009-06-16 18:47 from 0hFg - click to readThere is a way to set ring tones for your contacts. First, you would have to save your contact that you want to use the tone to your phone. When the contact is saved in to your phone, then you would then first go to the contact name. You should see an icon next to the name, it should not be the sim icon. Then you would push options, left soft key. Edit & then go down to ringtone & set your ringtone. The tone should not be more than 300KB because the tone will then be too big to set as a ringtone.

i agree with cho. i bought an sd card for it, but the phone won't let me save any pictures in it! although i do like the qwerty on it. it's really easy to work. still, if you want a long lasting phone, not this one. same things as cho's matrix happened with mine

I have this phone, and it's not that great. I've had it for a while now and it reboots randomly, turn off on its own, and sometimes it freezes up. I don't even use the phone often!! I say look for a different phone.

I got this phone like a month ago & it is BA. The design is really sleek & nice to the touch. I can use it pretty easly either way. The only thing i dont really like is that the speaker does not really handle the bass well when listenning to music. I can navagate really easly after the first week, but still dont know everything about this phone yet. O & did i menchen that i am fully blind, so even then, i still really like this phone. So if a blind guy can use this phone, i think anyone can.

just bought this phone today. i normally hate sliders and qwerty key pads but this phone changed my opinion on both. only thing that kinda annoys me is it can accidentally connect to the internet pretty easily. locking the keys really comes in handy and will save your bill from unexpected internet charges. over all i really like it and looking forward to continue using it. Definitely the best phone i have yet to own

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-04-19 08:41 from jPIE - click to readDepending on your status, it will cost around 50/79$s with upgrade or new 2year contract, & if you just want the phone, it will cost about 279 or somewhere around there.
