This one has NO radio. When you flip open the phone has small slot which reads your fingerprint. It's at the base. This answer your questions

In the CA Los Angeles area, does anyone have this phone? If so, is the ROAMING indicator always on? Mines connect to the Cingular Wireless Network, but the ROAMING indicator is always on.

My version has the voice recognition but not the FM radio. Basically, the voice recog. works when you receive texts messages, it reads out the messages for you and does so automatically

Many of you don't know about the FM radio and voice recognition system...Thing is, Pantech introduced two (2) versions of this phone and one of them is with the FM radio and voice rec. system..ergo, many of us are lacking these two items.

I've been thinking about getting this phone for a couple of months now and I finally got it. Its a great phone, I like it because it is different. I know how to use the fingerprint scanner properly now. I don't know about the FM radio part though. It's a good phone but the battery life power is a concern considering I play alot of mp3's

I managed to configure it to send/receive pxts. Is a cool phone but the Battery only lasts for 2 days. That would be my only gripe at this point. althought figuringout how to use the finger print recog is hard to. Still cant figure out how the secret dialer works.
