Even i had a problem with the joystick before. Then i got da joystick serviced. A little lubrication should do the trick. I have never had any problem with the joystick there on.
Try it.

I bought it about a iear and the ok buton dozen`t work so gudd what can i do?pls anwser

The voice volume is very low and its pictures are not clear.Its only these two things that am not happy about

I bought this phone about a year ago. It was manageable, although now its scratched as hell, it taps against sumthin and the flimsy thin back panel comes off as the side panel is snapped. got round the problem of pressin buttons too many times= in contacts press the number of the begginin of the persons name and it comes up with it after about 2 seconds. I could trade this in at the link n get a nokia 1660 or sumthin which has no camera but still has colour, java, etc. I would get 1p for doin that, but can i really be ****ed?

would not recommend if ur lookin for a cool phone
would recommend if its just a basic phone u want with wap.

I bought this phone in september 2005 hopping that it will be as good as the design unfortunately this is not the case. joy stick failure needs modification. is this phone having a usb cable? if there is then may i get the information throug my email. memory capacity too low. u can change design to a five button to replace the joy stick

I got this phone last year (2005) for my 13th Birthday and i loved it at the time.. But now it is SO embarrassing and it looks like a brick and is as heavy as one.. At the moment it won't even turn on for me.. The camera is a very bad quality, The games are no good.. All i can say is i'm overjoyed i'm getting a new phone in September. I would recommend this phone to older people if they are in URGENT need of it. It isn't even blue and all fancy like in the pic.. Mines is grey and black (Very ugly). this phone sux the cam clarity is useless it's just dark and th worst part is the joystick pls if ur buying a new phone go only for nokia or SE

I have had this phone for just over a year and it's the worst phone i've ever had the misfortune to use. Camera quality is awful,memory gets full too quickly and the buttons stick. The only good thing is the sound quality for ringtones etc. The design of the phone is very good, however, drop it a few times and it will get broken. This phone is great for absolute beginners but for anybody looking for the same or near quality as nokia,sony ericsson or samsung ranges you will be very dissappointed.

During some time I was a great fan of this phone but now I discovered that Sharp GX17 is a thousand times better that Philips 355.

I have had a philips 355 for a while now. I get on great with it, especially with the data connect kit! A great phone with good features, yet still reasonably priced. Only cons are parts are hard to get hold of, and fascias are not replaceable!

This has to be the worst phone i've ever had. The build quality was crap, it creak, echos and feels very very plasticy. All in all i was glad to get rid of the damn thing!

i searched for the philips 355 quickstart guide on the internet and i am damn sure if others had done so, they will have bben softer in their criticisms.

i have had this phone for over a year and i think it's really good. It has a cool screen menu, a good camera (i have never had a phone with a camera so i think its good but you may think different) and it is a cool candy shape. If you are looking for a cheap phone for just a year or two i would advise you to buy it!!!

im so pleased, ive finally ditched this phone since it is so s***. please, if you are thinking about getting it, please think again. to get saved photos onto your computer (or anywhere else) you hav to send ech one in a mms, which are costly. there is no usb port, infrarred or bluetooth, which is really bad. he joystick button rarely works, and you have to press it loads, same as other buttons. please dont buy it, dont waste your money.

ok ive had this phone a year im 14 now and it was old and embarassing from the day i bought it. i replaced it from a nokia 6610i and its nowhere near the standards i suggest not to buy this phone. It turns off for no apparent reason!, the buttons stick and u have to press them really hard, the joystick is ver dodgy it doesnt do what you ask at the main menu. I have decided to throw this phone and buy the samsung e720 which is actually a reasonabe price and good qualit phone which i would recommend. in a nutshell: if you desperately need a phone its satisfactory for the money otherwise, bad phone.

i have that phone now...and i think it s all what i need now....it s a good one...comparated with siemens and another it s good....not performace..but good

I bought this phone hardly two months and it sucks because when i recieve a call it echos and now i cant use the centre ok button and i cant find the customers service phone number or address in chennai and i wasted four grandes for the stupid cellphone

i have had this phone for a year and i hate it. i cant wait to get a new one. it is so bad. whenever you go abroad you cant turn off the voicemail, so it ends up costing you loads. when i first got it, it didnt receive calls or texts. the joystick thing never works. the memory is always full up, even though i hardly have any photos at all. any photos i do have are rubbish quality. i know its cheap, but still you can buy much better phones for its price. my advice to anyone about to buy it is dont bother.

this phone was my first one and i tell u, it sucks big time. sure, it looks kool but all the rest suck. screen is kinda small, games r boring, completely hard to use, n da camera, cant take any good pictures. when u zoom it destroys the crappy pic completely which gives u a much crappier image. it took me 1 month to understand how to take pics with it. the joystick didn work from the moment i got it, and the menu is slow. i highly recommend u not to buy it.
