I am using this phone since last 1 month, but I think that cam is not even close to any nokia cam,,,not too bad, but if you want to activate the gprs please find the settings coz its too complicated to activate the gprs and mms,,,,,can any one tell me the actual settings of gprs in this rubbish complicated phone.

Do not buy this phone, instead go for an n-gage QD. it's way better for a start within a few months of me getting the philips the joystick wore out and does now almost completely broken. the phone itself is quite slow and the only way you can send pics, tones, ect is via a multimedia message wich costs about 30p! thisphone is bollocks and i could go on. i am now getting a n-gage for £80 with a game! it's way better.
ps: you will regret getting the philips.

this fone is crap in 2 days the ok key stoped working i think it went out of place and i have no idea how to open the damn thing. if anyone knows how to open it please can you email me because i cant view anything the fone is done for im thinking i can shift teh key if i open it but i dont know how to . email me at enox_es@homail.com and your help will be appriciated

hi i bought a philips 355 in italy cecina, but the shop owner doesnt have a manual in english, and it is pretty tough for me to understand the functions in the booklet which is italian. Would you be able to help me with how to go about getting a manual in english, it could be on the internet too. please just help me with this.
I have no other problems and the phone is really handy. Thanks and regards.

I had purchased one Philips 355 Mobile recently, but I was not given the Data Cable and the CD, without which I am unable to take the print outs through my Computer of the snapped photos taken by the said mobile phone. Kindly help me to get rid from this problem. I am staying in Bangalore. Thanx.

Good value for the money (I've got mine on Virgin). To answer a couple of questions
1) Yes you can use it abroad, it's dualband (I've used it in Singapore)
2) To get '+' for addresses, long press the '+' key - it took me a while to find that in the manual.

a very nice phone.
it has a lot of functions and aplications, making it better that a nokia phone. the camera is not bad at all, especially if there is light.
the battery is also pretty good: the stand-by time is about 5 or 6 days. the only thing that bugs me is the memory, but if you take pictures at 128*128 resolution it's ok.

Hi,the PHILIPS 355 phone is really good i must admit.Am actually wondering if it has a USB port as its manual says,or is there a way of connecting it to a computer?PLEASE HELP.THANKS

The Philips 355 is a piece of garbage phone,
because the Joystick is awful, the Lcd has 65k but the colours are dissapointing and all the pictures have no quality , the pictures you make with the camera are shity and if you put it as wallpaper you will see that the picture you made is a little smaller than the lcd, is really stupid
And the autonomy of the battery is LOW 1 day if you make pictures.
The memory os 1.8 Mb ,400kb free and only 10 fotos can be stocked.
Really STUPID A low price phone but the quality is VERY LOW DO not BUY THIS PHONE

I bought this phone couple of days back.
It looks good but the ok button in joy stick is horrible,very difficult to use. Another issue is picture clarity in camera is poor and no ways u can send the sanps to ur computer.
On whole it a good worth for the money
