the camera has a zoom but whenever i push the zoom function it does nothing. Someone please answer thats what this is for.

One of the features of this phone is a euro currency converter. Does anyone who has the phone know where this is located. Ive looked under games and applications where the instruction manual says it is but its not there?

Well,
I have just got the 355 today, and I'm very pleased with it. It's my first camera phone, and the picture quality is good, and I just can't stop taking pictures with it.
Overall, I would very much recommend this phone.

I've read that you can enter postal addresses, where and how do i do that??
Also, i've set the alert sounds on the phone, but i always find the phone going dead on me because the alert tone doesnt warn me. How do i set this so it works??

I had purchased one Philips 355 Mobile recently, but I was not given the Data Cable and the CD, without which I am unable to take the print outs through my Computer of the snapped photos taken by the said mobile phone. Kindly help me to get rid from this problem. I am staying at Kharagpur, which is very near to Kolkata, India. Thanx.

I bought this phone from phones 4 u for £80 with £30 top up. Great deal..
Referring to previous reviews...who would take it back for the price? It is made well even though its plastic, anyway metal is heavy. The texting does have t9 and some other review said it doesnt.
Also the same review said the camera is rubbish?? What the hell are you on about. It has 2x zoom and you can change the resolution and the image quality!!! I compared it to a sony ericcson twice the price and it was just as good or even better.
Also the other review said that you cant get external photos, well what do you expect for the price???Its amazing as it is.
Also the other review said that the games are no good, well who the hell judges it by the games. They are actually not bad.
I find the menu and displays on this phone really fun to use and much more interesting that a nokia. The features are really good and the screen is really clear.
Some peoples reviews are complete crap.

had this phone for three months now,,ive had a lot of phones before and get bored with them but this phone(philips 355)is just soooooo good.so many goodies on it and cool camara,,,never let me down...do yourself a favour and buy one..got mine from comet for £59 special ..worth at least double that .

Just got the phone, a little confusing at the start to use, but then got the hang of it. I compared the display to a nokia and its much better. Im not sure if there is a problem with the battery though because when i charged it all day it was at one bar??
Other wise its really good.

It's the best thing Rs 7000/- can buy. No IR port or bluetooth is frustrating but still it's the best in this price range.

firstly,thanks for your tecnology because philips has created phone selular which have a positive value than another.And i think philips is one of the best factory in indonesia.
philips 355's type is good,but i don't know, why this handphone's type was difficult to be found in indonesia especialy in malang city.I'm sorry because my lecture in brawijaya univercities.
