Very satiesfied with this phone, really well made phone. Full marks to philips, BeDJ is working good! Indeed it is very innovative!

there's some kind a bug in this phone.
1. a camera goes blank.
2. some death dot pixel in the right screen
3. failed to send n' receive picture or else even with other philip 530
4. gprs with bad n' slow connection, so its often failed to get connection.
I herd its because a software doesn't work properly, so philips if it's true, please realese the upgrade software.

i have a 6310i and want 2 swop it 4 a 530. but the ringtones of the 530 isnt that loud compared 2 any of the nokia's. im lookin 4 sumthin loud.

I wish to know about the following features of 530:
1. Backlighting -- Is this as good as Nokia's 2100?
Voice Memo - What exactly is it. IS it kind of speech to text converter & can I use it during phone conversations or only offline?
BEDJ -> I guess thats used to mix and compose our own ringtones. CAn someone elaborate?
Also, is the screen quality really that poor?? And how is the camera (for 535 it says 4X zoom) resolution and quality when we upload the pics on the PC.

may i know how..i can usew usb port fo philips 530, and is this phone doesn't has java..aplication, and how if i want download game,and is the irda very easy detect by laptop,no need special driver....like se t610?..and can i transfer..picture from 530..to se t610??
please explain to me..cause i am very interest about this phone...

i have one too, the "screen" it's average I don't think it's that bad, probably it's the worse 65k color "screen", but I think it's better than any 4096 "screen" (except for nokias x650)
by the way it's not a "screen" it's a display :p ;)

well I had one (you can see what I said below) and the screen, if you want an ideia, it's slightly worse then the one in nokias (3100, 7210, 7250 etc...) becouse the colour are not well defined, and the it has lot's of "grains" it is tft, so you don't have much problems reading under direct sunlight, nut the problem it's just that, the screen has bad colour and resolution, see for yourself
