I think it is made to call, and not to break. I think it is good thinking to place the screen on the back, It's a real digicam

I've waited long for it. However, according to a Taiwan's website, it will be released in late April.

I can't wait to buy this phone, it's really beautifull and it has everyhting i want (well, with bluetooth i'd be even more happy). Does anybody know when it's going to be released in the UK? Since we don't see philips phones in Greece, a friend of mine who lives in London can buy it for me...

that is so sad honestly, Philips brand sucks, they have no bluetooth in there phones anymore, they are cheap tacky budget designs, i have to agree with the alcatel person, the S865 is a awesome phone and has a better reselution with the 256k colour screen on the alcatel, philips only has a 65k colour screen, so i agree i would rather go with alcatel from now on

Its a great phone. Compared the pictures with SonyERiccsson K700i, although both are 1.3MP, the Philips 760 is much better in terms of clarity and moving pictures do not judder. Good one from Philips and keep those good phones rolling in Philips. Blue tooth would have been good.

Its a good phone and knowing Philips, its a quality phone. The design is nice and I think the price is right too. In Malaysia they just won the 'LONGEST BATTERY LIFE MOBILE PHONE' and i think they will take more awards with models that are up coming. I use the Xenium 9@9c and have no problems. It supports Chinese language and thats waht i want.

Jack, I am from India and Nokia is the leader in the phone market here. I have a Philips mobile too.. 630 but am not happy with it. I shud have bought the Xenium Colour one (i.e. 650). Thats really great in terms of batt life and performance with the limited features supported.

Royal Philips Electronics says that it has shipped its one billionth mobile phone display. Mobile Display Systems (MDS), a business unit of Philips Semiconductors. Based on Gartner Group's mobile phone shipment reports (2002 and 2003) and Philips internal shipment data, one in four mobile phones contains a Philips mobile display!

Well Kendrick, Philips is actually a top three player in the mobile phone components market. All major phone brands use Philips Semiconductors, displays, battery management and often the complete inside (for instance Samsung). If it is good enough for these brands to buy Philips technology it must be good for the average consumer as well. Philips mobile phones is actually leading the market in countries like China, India, Russia etc.....
