my phone came back from service and guess what even they cant fix it so they gave me a philips 768 i wonder how much this one will last

do not buy this phone it looks good but its not i tried a memory card and it distroid it now its gone crazy the uper keyboard doesnt work anymore unles the phone is closed i'm still waiting to get it back from service it's been 3 weeks i think they dont know how to fix it my advice DO NOT BUY IT

Len, would you please help me to learn how can I use this phone's default email client & live messenger for send/recieve mails & chatting? I dont know how to set them up in the Messages option

(Len Thank you so much for the kind info on using this phone as a webcam). People who're using Windows 98 can use it as a modem by 1st installing the Fisio GPRS Modem Driver. Its situated in the Cd's Addon's Inf folder. Then connect the phone, it'll be detected as a modem. Then use mobile phone tools. For WinXP, there's no other choice than a bluetooth/irda connector. Because the Fisio GPRS Modem driver is accepted no longer in the XP platform (except in the Safe Mood)

i've bought this phone after i read the opinions an i still like it!the head set workes just fine ,and mp3 quality is good,pictures are 2 mpx,but that depends of light !i dproped it several times and it still works,so i'm pleased with it!and the slide is one of the best!

do NOT buy this phone. it's a waste of money: irda and bluetooth transfers are limited to 350 kb, the headset doesn't work, the battery lasts for about two days and the camera doesn't take 2 mpixel photos.

it is a very very waste mobile.it is useless. philips cheat us with this moble. this moblie cam mobile is not 2 mega pixel.and its software may written by some of idiots.they dont know abt useage abt mobile.it is waste of our money. its display very bad. its back light off when call comes very shortly. why philips cheat us. i cant re sell this mobile.so it is my suggestion to philips pl stop manufacturing of this kind of mobiles. and my suggestion to users as a user dont buy this mobile.

i was so stupid to buy this phone,and know i can`t find anyone more stupid then me so i can sell it...the camera in not "2 megapixeli",you can`t store in his memory only files up to 350 kb eaven if you have 512mb card,the headset is not working,i can`t here it when it rings,the phone is very slow(sms,pictures,folders,music etc.)don`t be fouled by the beautiful design,the phone is worse then SH.T!!do not buy this phone!!philips please stop making this trash!!!

Camera is less 1.3 mega pixel though it says 2 mega pixel.
1st thing is that i regret i bought this phone...
i can`t even find anyone stupid enough to buy it...
the music is not that loud!!!it is relly slow........
at every thing(sms,pictures,looking at a picture..)etc...
This phone is trash...
You can't send files to large over BTH,
so if you want to send MP3's, forget it.
PLUS, if you make photo's with its "2MP camera",
you will have to wait around 20sec for it to be stored...
I'm from Romania. Same here. PHILIPS PLEASE STOP MAKING MOBILE PHONES.

This Phone is truly a beauty. With an IrDA adapter i use it as a gprs modem. The phone software works perfectfy with IrDA connection. Now i can check internet, send email & mms, organize tasks everything !!! I also found many addictive GAME for this phone. Of course you should ask for them now !!!
** One who asked about webcam: turn on your webcam option in phone and connect the data cable to pc. If you are using windows xp, then it will automatically detect it as usb webcam. Then you can capture your moments from windows movie maker or any video editing software. You can also use it while chatting... just configure it in your messenger.

I wish i could have seen all this comments before i buy this phone.Camera is less 1.3 mega pixel though it says 2 mega pixel.Bluetooth is usless.Al in all this phone should be awarded as bluff master.

the phone i bought dis yr isnt that gud.cannot transfer bluetooth.the earphone doesnt work and so on when i take it to complain they say that its not their problem and they cant fix it.
any way compared to nokia it will take a lot of time for philips phone to dethroned the the mightier nokia dealers.

i've solved the mp4 problem just convert the file using mobile phone tools you should at first convert them using another program as it takes a very long time to convert them directly but it is the only way you will have sound for mp4

Looks good.. but, da user interface is horrible... its very slow.. da bluetooth is near to useless.. camera isnt dat gud... needs extreme lighting conditions 2 get a decent picture... and installing java applications is to lenghty...

This is by far the worst phone I've ever had: after clicking a key it will take almost a second until something appears on the display, while in a call if you receive a second call it will start ringing like crazy and will finally block (the only way to make it stop is taking the battery out of the phone), the battery is not one of the bests. Don't be fooled by the great looks and promised features! Stay away of it!
