can i download games on it? how about the videos? tried downloading some but it doesnt play..its as if it doesnt recognized the video format...it had a question mark beside it..

to betty:

just save your mp3 outside the folder so the mp3 player can detect it.. don't save it inside the audio folder or in any other folder.

There are 17 tones there. The first 12 can not be replaced or erased. The next 5 can be replaced. Select one of them by pressing OK. On the screen will appear 3 options. Select Replace> Audio > Open and select the melody you want to add by pressing OK. You are done.

this phone is revolutionary! even better than the n95 8gb or the upcoming n96! this phone should be worth millions! thank you so much sun cellular for giving this phone to me for free!

this phone sucks. got it free from sun, the signal is weak compared to high end phones. but the battery is great and the phone looks pretty much okay with decent looks.

to Danutz Nastase: thank you for helping me but i think it will not work cause if i do it the audio that i will choose will be deleted totally but that's not what i want to happen.. anyway, still thank you for your response. i appreciate it very much=)

My network provider SUN Mobile operator said my MMS is already activated. But I had been trying to use it, already reviwed the manual, ask some friends around but we can't figure out what's wrong. Does my MMS doesn't work at all? I need help please.

hey is a pen drive an external hardisk? one more question..how can this phone detect the new attachment to be able to play the mp3 in the pen drive?

can anybody confirm what that guy was saying about using a flash drive to expand the phone's memory? can the USB flash drive made by pqi be used for this? im confused. im really considering to get this phone but i need confirmation. tnx

to Tino: I can't understand your advice re expansion of memory.... is the MEMORY FLASH PEN DRIVE STICK is different from USB FLASH DRIVE?

I have 2 problems with my S 660:

1. When i download videos into my computer, when i play them it only works with image but no sound.I can hear the sound when I play videos on the phone but not on the PC. I tried play clips with all known media player programes (Windows Media PLayer, Real Player, Quick Time, Nero StartSmart Essentials). I still want to give a shot with BSPlayer or RadEye. Can anyone tell me if the problem is with the media player programe or with the video codec of the phone?

2.I can't download videos from computer to phone and i read other opinions like this one. Maybe this phone is only a MP3 Player but not a media player (MP4). It can't support MPEG4? it says the videos are AVI exactly like the ones stored inside its memory but it won't play them..it says "Invalid Video File". It's nice to see the music videos too ..not only to listen to the sound.

In rest.. audio files and photos work allright. It's an excellent phone compared with others from its class and given the price (or deals in case of those who received for free..)

Advice for those who want more memory on this phone: BUY A MEMORY FLASH PEN DRIVE STICK AND PLUG IT WITH THE USB CABLE PROVIDED WITH THE PHONE. IF YOU BUY A 4 GIGABYTES MEMORY STICK YOU WILL BE ABLE TO LISTEN EVEN TO CASTRO'S SPEECHES..YOU WON'T NEED YOUR MP3 I-POD ANYMORE. I recommend the following brands: Corsair, A-Data, Apacer, Canyon. DON'T BUY KINGSTON !!! They will collapse instantly. Hope this helps..

how should i activate MMS and email messaging of this unit? Im in saudi arabia. when i call network customer service they told me that there's non yet configuration setting for this unit. what should i do to use my MMS and Email messaging? please help me and i need your rply. this unit is no good with out using MMS and Email messaging. thank you very much.

To jenny: I hope you found already the answer. If you didn't,here it is: enter in Menu> File manager>D:> Option> Open> select Audio> Option > Open > Default, then select the song you want to erase, push Option, select Delete and push Ok. You are done. It is a litlle complicated, I admit...

somebody help me.. i don't know how to erase the added ring tones from audio player to be a ring tone or message alert, i need to erase and replace it a new one because i can't add another unless i will erase because it's full already.. appreciate your response! thanks..

THIS POST IS FOR ALL YOUR QUERIES RE downloading MP3 to your philips S660:
1. plug your USB cable
2. select the mass storage (NOT COM PORT)
3. select the songs you would want to transfer from your desk top to your device
4. send to REMOVABLE F:
5. PRESTO!!!! all selected files copied or transfered to your device

GUYS!!! hope these procedure helps you a lot.
