Yes it takes normal 'modern' SIM cards - not the old credit card sized ones.

this philips savvy vogue mobile set is so good, it's performance is so good.but i'm still in a problem, which is that, i'm still using this mob8ile set since last 5 years, but my moblie's internal keypad is damaged due to my fault.so this keypad is not available in INDIA. please arrange this keypad for me. i very greatfull to u.

I would love to get hold of a manual for my Savvy Vogue phone but your link takes me to Philips' web site which does not seem to have this manual. In fact its search engine doesn't even know about Savvy or Vogue, or model N488
Can you help regarding the user manual?

It is a phone very cheap and with a lot of functions however it is more for females and it is a little big and a bit "fat"...
The network sensibility, and the audio quality is excelent!
The battery autonomy is good 3/4 days on standby!
