i live in vietnam. i have just bought this mobile for a week. i admire that its battery is powerful. but Fm, and player music is too bad. *_* also typing is such hard work. price in vietnam. 2500.000 đ = 147$ too expensive.*_*

I would give it a 10/10 for a basis phone. Camera sucks but who care, everyone should have digital camera anyway. If one wish for a good phone with simple entertainment, this is a must buy! No complain! Cheers!

just Rm600+ in Malaysia, but rare to find one.. but still, it only worth with fearsome battery, still can't compete with other hi-tech phone with a lot of feature.

Wow! This phone is not a hi-tech one, but the talk time and standby time (as posted here) are very attractive. I wonder if it is the truth? I have to buy one now to make sure of it!

The phone is available in shops in Russia. My girlfriend in Saint Petersburg is going to buy one for me. Price is less then 4000 rubles (about 100 dollar) without a contract.
It is going to replace my old Philips 9@9++ from 2003 which is still working. Why of why are not they sold in Europe?

Until now, I've used many mobile phone; 2g or 3g. Honestly, I don't give a damn whether it is 2g or 3g. Heck, using 3g mobile phone bored the hell out of me. Only one issue that have been bothering me about mobile phone, and it is battery. If this phone ever come out, I don't mind if this phone is more expensive than other phone with same specification, as long the battery can last long better than most of phone nowadays. And erased my worried of charging phone everyday. I will buy it anyway.

I think Philips shoud update GPS feature for this phone's descendant, with GPS & stand by time, this phone will be the best for anyone who like travel & adventure :D

Crazily waiting for this model.
I think, no one can have the long talk-time
& standby time like Philips. U can run about
07-10days by one full charge...wow!!
others features are also up2da mark..

the best phone for everyday stand by mode, a design for business and travel. It's the next step from 9@9k, best battery option in all Xenium line-up.
This phone can be used as back-up device for calls only. Music, camera and browser are just below average - not needed.

amazing battery life. . feature's are not so bad either. . but the only problem is the availability and service station . . i had 568 with charging issue which i had to through away
because of
lack of philips service station in my region (india-karnataka-mysore)

excellent and stylish design from philips with a considerable features and huge battery talktime of 17hrs and standby of 1440hours.The new x500 has improved its features a lot such as bluetooth with A2DP and also gps and EDGE allowing the browsing experience.according to me a good phone for busy people and for those who are always on bussiness trips .
