Philips phones have a very good reputation for its battery life and at the same time also have a bad issue for camera... accordingly I hope Philips will revise this phone's features... A quadband-dual sim-dual on-NO CAMERA-unlimited call records-unlimited call directory-mp3 player-fm radio....and stil at least has a month standby-8 hours talk time.

Hi ladies & gents....philips lovers and cell phone users...
Since tha' Philips mobiles are under China ruling, 'till 2011...I don' think that this guys will have tha' gut to put out a phone with a really big difference on tha' market...'do they are really close...tha' only thing missing with this X500 being tha' MUCH NEEDed QUAD band and a 2000mAh battery!
Tha' other thing important... STOP bSHtin' about tha' battery life... 9@9k has: 25 days with 1.10 hours spoken ...so...please...!!!
God luck to all!!!

Well, i will love 2 take X500, cause
i already used 05 models of Philips
& become a fan of philips set.
What i feel, now a days Long battery
back-up is a must, where philips has
really done good job. Here, only
one thing i like 2 suggest that,
the Camera should b 2mp & the price
should b within US$90.
Oh..yes, i also request Philips 2
send the set soon at Bangladesh, cause
we use 2 get it little later.
All the best.
Kuntal Aulad
Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Beside the quadband issue. A business fine MUST also have an unlimited phone directory and record! Forget the camera, my Nikon works just fine.

another non-quadband phone... another mistake from philips! C'mon this is a business fone, right? And a quadband MUST be a standard feature!

Philips knows this job. I had one of the earlier 9@9 series and the first charge was 24 days later. This 5 months standby seems to scold the other brand. Hoping there will not be any GSM1800 problems.
