I tried to find a clock application for this phone, and found a good free-apps in getjar, it called bmddigiclock, once downloaded you need to go to menu-entertainment-java-launch- and select bmddigiclock, the clock will be displayed, press red button to quit.

When downloading ringers, wallpapers etc., even with it set up for T-Zones (T-Mobile) the phone receives the download(s) but gives error message stating no access to this or unable to recognize!! Any answers as how to correct this!? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

just got it, I dont like the keypad, and slippery body. I like big display, good calculator menu, good battery, charging thru usb, possibility to use AAA cell, memory card access, card recognized directly by pc whenever the phone is charged thru usb. I still need to find how to install java apps yet, anyone knows ?

I got about 25 days of standby time, the standby time is really very good and the AAA battery cell is there in case of need of emergency power, with push of a button it can transfer the power from this AAA cell to the phone. Once that is done you can talk more. And you can buy another AAA cell and put in just in case you need more power. The company suggests the use of "Energizer" AAA battery.
If you want phone as a phone for talking, this is a phone for you. but if you want an electronic all in one then do not look at this phone. It is a beautiful phone and i am proud owner of it.

PS this phone is not available in india as Philips does not sell to indian market. there was a company called "FIRST MOBILE" they did import mobiles of lesser known companies but they closed down. You can buy this phone from Hong Kong.
