Camera always switching on, lock ups daily, poor music quality, terrible call quality but handy to store addresses, email and web browsing.
I wouldn't buy another one though.

I have a Qtek 2020i for about six months, and have had so many problems. At present, i feel a suddently urge to throw it against the nearest wall about twice a week...
It Hangs (need to reset) ... Sometimes it resets all by himself just by pushing the On Button ... sometimes it seems to be OK but noone reaches me by Phone (and when i find that i have to... you guessed, reset)...
I think this is the worst model QTEK ever sold... I think the small ones (S100, S110, etc) work well, but this piece of crap doesn't.

i've had one of these for several months now.
and i must sayit's cracking device. no prolems with email wlan, all working a treat evn got remote control software for it so i can control all the tv's vcrs' dvd player even my light switches in my house,
got sat nav software mp3 software
easily runs TomTom Navigator 5 and mp3 player the same time,
hardly ever locks up, and when it does it's not a problem just soft reset.
only thing i found is the sylus is easily lost as it seems to be a poor fit for the designated slot

This device sucks........
Apart form the random lock-ups and the fact that using normal email configuration settings this thing refuses to get your email everything is fine and dandy, Do yourself a favour. Dont buy this piece of junk.

The echo that those calling you hear can be stopped by adjusting the volume button on the side of the unit during the call; presumably a bug in the system.

I'm interested Qtek. But I need to know if it syncs with Macintosh and if so how well. Would I need to buy additonal software (what) or does Entourage work with it?
Thanks

I'm on my fourth qtek 2020 /2020i(including 1 vodafone v1620). Overall its great but it doesn't work as it should in my car kit. The person i'm calling hears constant feed back. - Any ideas out there?
Also I haven't worked out how to use it as a modem for my laptop - any thoughts would be welcomed.

This is a PDA with a phone attached. PDA function fine however the phone qulaity is poor as there is a loud echo when using the phone. During conversations you hear a feedback repeat of your own voice through the headset and also the person on the other phone can hear the echo. This also happens on 02 versions XDAIIi.

It is brilliant to have one compact piece of kit rather than PDA and phone. The functionality of the QTEK 2020i is fantastic. Whether you like the Bill Gates monopoly or not, Windows is the way forward and it does email, internet, syncs to laptop etc perfectly.
However, it is prone to crashing. It is prone to running out of battery and it is delicate.
Without the carry case it fits neatly into a suit pocket. But without the carry case it is very easy to damage. Mine dropped out of a pocket when I was getting into a car and the result was a 'screen bleed' and a new handset.
he Camera button is in the wrong place. I have lost count of the times I have been using the thing as a PDA when I have touched the camera button and suddenly found myself looking at my feet on-screen!
The only other downfall is that there is no in-car kit available at present. It is on its way...still.
But I still use it and for a business user I reckon there is no better product.

I have been using the 2020i for two month now having previously used a HP 2210 and a Nokia mobile phone. Adavantages are
1. I have one gizmo to carry instead of 2
2. Everything is easy to use and find
3. More powerful than my Ipaq
4. I have a digital camera in my pocket at all times and is useful when I leave mine at home by mistake.
The disadvantage of the 2020i.
1. Battery life is not great and have to charge daily.
2. Can be bulky sometimes.
3. Quality of the camera leaves a little to be desired however I only use it in an emergency.
Overall a great peice of kit and would recommend particularly if you want to replace your PDA and mobile phone into one peice of kit.
