To switch off the flight mode, just quick press the power button and select "Flight mode off" or press "2" on the phone keyboard.

Hi! My phone does not allow MP3 files to be set as ringtone, though WMA files work. Is that normal or does my phone have a problem? Do I need to install some codec? Also the sound quality for WMA ringtone isn't too good. Please advise. Thanks.

I got this as an SPV C500 about 3 years ago and I still love it. I get it out every time I have a problem with whatever newer phone I'm using and it never fails, I've even managed to get it unlatched and now using a Vodafone sim in it. I only wish I could work out how to tidy up my files since I messed them up last year, and would love to be able to use MP3 as ringtones.

Tried to go to the website but they say the IMEI number is bad. Somewhere else to download the firmware from without registering?

To all users, kindly update ur ROM( software) which will allow u to set mp3 as ringtones and provide few extra functions in ur phone as well. i had an i-mate and updated my phone from i-mate website.kindly goto the qtek website and see if u get the update.

http://www.myqtek.com/europe/support.aspx

Yes MP3s can't be used as ringtones, but WMA can be, place a WMA file in the Storage/Application Data/Sounds folder.

java works very well considering it's performances, but you can not put an mp3 as a ringtone... only a wav
