Hi! how can change the system language to ENGLISH? it is currently in French. please help me. i really want to use it now.

To change its language you must "install" a portuguese firmware and a portuguese OS.

I'm using it since 6 month. I'm veryunsatisfied. I's an unstabile phone asking to be reset at least 3x a week (different reasons).

I´ve got a doubt. What´s the difference between windows mobile 5.0, windows mobile 2003 se and pocket pc? Can I install Skype on all of them?
Wich one is better?

i have qtek 9090 for nearly 3 months,it's 2 problems that i cant solve,
1st)the sound of camera when you take film is too low and i should say is very bad.i don't know what to do with that.
2nd)the options for phone using(like:switch off,diverting,...) is not enough.
i would be pleased if someone help me.specialy for 1st problem.

I have bought one about three months ago. I am very happy with this device. You can find a lot of information about this xda on xda-developers.com , there you can find software upgrades/translations etc. Even a linux distribution for this one

Just taken delivery of my new Qtek 9090 (or Vodafone v1620 as my one is). Previously I had the 2020i and already I prefer this one with one exception - which I will mention shortly.

Good Points:
1. qwerty keyboard is neat and usable.
2. The extra function buttons on the lower front of the phone are very useful.
3. The camera button is less easy to catch by mistake and take unexpected photos.
4. It does not seem to hang like the 2020i did. (So far!)
5. It looks good.

Bad Points:

1. The case it comes with is useless. You have to take the phone out of the case to do anything. You cannot even see the screen.
2. Uses a different shape battery to the 2020i, so I have had to bin my spare battery from the 2020i.
3. Uses a slightly different shape stylus to the 2020i, so have had to bin my spares.

Overall, great upgrade.

Does anybody know, how I can delete the evelope symbol for recieved sms on the display? I have already read all the new sms, but the symbol is since 2 weeks always on the display of my Qtek9090.

I am abot ot purchase QTek 9090. Have a few questions to those who have it:
Does the 5 operation button the bottom center included as it is in the standard pocket pc?
it said it has built-in WiFi (for lan) is it true?
Its speed is 400MHz, in comparison is that reasonable?
What is the resolution of the camera (480x640) as they claim.

Can I surf the internet with 9090 like standalone desktop pc? is there any paired device such as bluetooth modem jack or somting like it, to do such task?
