The Qtek 9100 is a very nice PDA. But I would prefer UMTS in stead of Edge. Anybody knows when UMTS will be available on a Qtek with the same size as the Qtek 9100?

I think this is defo the phone for me. Its just a shame that no matter where i order it from noone can seem to supply it. Does any one know where i can get it?

this phone is the coolest thing out there for now. I have seen the movie and pictures, read reviews...its just an amazing device. I wish I kne when they are going to roll it nation wide. I hope the price is not tool high too.

JMC,

You should have no problem at all switching SIM cards. I currently use skype on my WIFI PDA with Pocket PC 2003. Since this device uses Windows Mobile 5.0 I am not sure there is a verison of Skype or if the Pocket PC version works for it.

I am also interested in buying this little beauty.

BTW I am from UK and live in Spain.

Hi there! This look like my next upgrade. I would like some more info on the new Texas Instruments OMAP 850, 195 Mhz processor. Where can I find out more? Why do they say this processor is faster than the Intel 400MHz + processors?

Hi,

I need some basic introduction to the world of the PDA & QTEK 9100.

I am currently working between UK & Spain. As such I spend the majority of my time travelling & I feel it would be beneficial to use a PDA for calls, faxes, e-mails and using the Internet.

I am a big fan of Skype. Would I be able to use Skype with the QTEK 9100, how would it work out with regard to price?

Also, would it work if I were to switch from a UK to a Spanish SIM Card?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

With 1gb minisd...it will be a perfect phone..with keypad,wifi,..hope camera is improved version...

Well there are 1G mini SD from sandisk, I think it SHOULD working on Qtek 9100, by the way, Does anyone know where can we download the User Manual ???? Thanks

There was a post befor that it uses miniSD and that means maximum is 512mb, why? There are 1g miniSDs so what should there be a problem with that?

Also what do u think is better qtek 9100 or qtek 2020i? Please suggest :)

Of course nothing beats the qtek 9000, which is like god, but thats way to pricy!

I am in the USA where would you get updates for this PDA? Where would you send it for SERVICE? Imate has a club for all downloads & a sevice center in the USA. I did a Google search for Qtek & I could not find a Site for it. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, everything is great except...it is using mini SD instead of SD card...512MB max...

for those who doubted the processor, i don't think you should be worry too much, as far as i know, the processor is 'multi core' compare to other pocket pc 'single core'.

There's this video link and the guy 'using' the phone, some application, wifi n stuff, overall i think the wizard perform well. anyway... http://www.beyondthetech.com/d...qtek9100.wmv
