the wihite screen shd be some theme wrong installation or something ..u can give a soft reset to ur mobile from a hole in the down ..it will set to facotry defaults .....chk tht..

yes u can set mp3 as ur ringstones /..
goto phone-> menu-> options u get all the opions of mp3 songs ..which all r there in ur mobile ...just set as u wish...

and u can download hell lot of applications from the qtek site

Hi, i just bought the s200 and i have a few questions and was wondering if anyone can help me. First off, how do i set mp3s as ringtones and alarms. second, where can i get applications like games and stuff on it and third i get an error when i try to install apps that come with it, it says i need to upgrade my device ROM. can anyone help me.

I'm having a serious problem with my qtek S 200. The screen is totaly white. The phone is working, because I can hear the sound and receive calls, but I can not see anything in the screen. Please, if somebody is having the same problem, please let me know. Thanks!

Just getting to grips with new Qtek S200, really feels good but the explorer browser only wants to open some pages and not others. Can anybody help? r_allen18@compuserve.com

Hi everyone.
Can anyone say how we can upgrade the firmware of this device? and where could we find the firmware upgrades files? rather than the Qtek Site and Registration?!

even i had the same doubt ..i bot Qtek S200 with 600 USD ..and i dot know whether Dopod 818 /o2 neo /imate Jamin ...which is better ???
and morever i have got a german oultook cd with my mobile ....while installing it has converted my outlook to german ....does any one got a English CD's??????

João Almeida: I think the front panel will be black with silver button. I am going to get mine in 2-3 business days.

I heard a lot of good review for this model.
I will post my review in the next few days/ weeks ^_^
One thing that still puzzles me.
HTC actually has 4 manuf. that uses the same model. I-mate Jamin, Qtek S200, O2 Neo, and Dopod 818 pro.
Why is the Dopod 818 and 02 Neo the most expensive ones and the Qtek S200 the cheapest of all?
Is it just the button?

Great device only one problem I've bought it in Norway so de Windows MObile 5.0 is in Norvegian. How can change the language to English?

i am same raja ..once posted ...i have got a serious problem,....i have got this Qtel S200 in china.I have been given German Outlook Cd and applications CD . I have installed the Outlook on my computer ...now my outlook has changed to German ..i am not able to convert it back to English...how can i change ?? and how can i use the cds in english????? plz help me

i-mate or jammin.

well the qteks200 same exact thing as jamin,just different name.

i had both the jamin is very bulky.its like a mini laptop.
does about the same things. the jamin does not haev push e-mail for those who use blackberry or a push e-mail client.

I use a 4gig memory stick works fine.
no problems with qtek s200 from a u.s user on cingular.

and the other question about the processor being slowed down. some times u have to go to
settings
system tab
memory
running programs
tap on the program you was using example. windows media that u may not be using anymore.
calender
explorer.

close it out. so ur pda can process a lil faster

i just bot the Qtek S200 ,went for Dopod 818 ..but bot this as only this was available and i was in hurry!!!! i have a wifi in the hotel ..it gets connected but cant open a page in internet Explorer ..can any one tell me how???
and u can get the manuals in the Qtek home page ...www.qtekcorp.com ....in that goto 'support' section ... and give ur IMEI number ...where u wil be given another site called www.myqtek.com ...here u can just search for S200 manuals ...u wil get 2 manuals in english ....
plz help in connecting to internet thru Wifi...

I just bought S200 in Paris and can’t find a way to change the operating system from French to English (other than date and time). Please help if you know how to do so! Also, I would be most grateful if someone could share with me the manual in english.

Got S100 last year:cannot use it as mobile gsm device.Too slow to change network,lost lot of calls!both s200 last week and is another world.fantastic mobile,wi-fi is working great,buttons are better than before.for me is the best pda on the market today.buy a 2gb sd card and enjoy it.ciao from italy

I´ve bought recently my Qtek s200 and my overall opinion for this divice is good. However, i'm having problems when opening and editing XLS and PDF files with 200 Kb or bigger, problems related with not enuff RAM.
I'm also using an 1Gb SD card
Can anyone tell me how to manage RAM memory on this PDA in order to work well
