After selling their mobile division to TCL Mobile, Alcatel was expected to renovate their technologies and offer brand-new mobile solutions. But at the 3GSM Congress were shown only models with old technologies. With the only exception of the S853 model, the company is offering budget handsets.

Alcatel announced a bunch of phones at the 3GSM Congress, but nothing attracted our attention much. Most of the new phones were not functional and were locked in a glass-case. Instead of real displays they had color stickers.

We know that the Alcatel fans are expecting an important release for quite some time. The S853 music phone was on display in the Alcatel booth. It is expected to be finally hit the market in March.
