Nokia N73 review: Pole position
Being the best equipped handset ever Nokia N73 has managed to overrun the king of all mobiles - the slider Nokia N80. It features Symbian OS, 3 megapixels backed up by the label of Carl Zeiss, USB Mass Storage, and works with office documents. Nokia N73 has a brilliant phonebook and a good time organizer as well as an exceptional Internet browser. The interest in this new Nokia phone is overwhelming worldwide.

Hi, I seem to have problems downloading themes. They never arrive in the correct folder. I have to chose between Memory or MiniSD, and don't have the opportunity to select 'Themes' afterwards, only Data, Other, Application, etc...
Anyone have an idea?

The N73 was finally released in Japan last week by SoftBank - albeit in a heavily locked-down version. The camera does take decent photos, but isn't anyone else concerned about how slow the autofocus and shutter response are - reminds me of digital cameras of about four years ago. The white balance also works very strangely while taking shots, with all sorts of distorted casts appearing on the screen, particularly under artificial lighting - although the colours in the photos themselves are not bad. One more concern - the font size for information on the main screen is extremely small and seems to be non-configurable, although it can be changed on the web screen. And as the reviewer said, the finishes, particularly on the keys, are an unfortunate quality step back from the 6680. Surely Nokia can do better than this - maybe they'll finally get it all together in the N95...

I have a N73 Music Edition, bought last week. Sometimes the phone hangs when I receive a call. I can' hear the person who's calling and the menu hangs too. The only thing I can do is to restart the phone. What the f*** is this meaning ? The option who says the caller's name is not active, so I don't think that could be a problem in my case as I saw in a comment below. Is this a bug common to N73 ? What can I do ?

I'm using Nokia N73 and would like to add snaps through PC-Suite inside contact details. What'd be the recommended size for a snapshot? i.e. 128x128 or 200x200 or 300x300 etc. Please advise...

Yes the N73 can sent attachments and yes there is anti virus software. Nokia recommends F secure(http://www.f-secure.com/opencm...obile.html). You have one month free trial.

Does anybody know if Nokia N73 can receive and send office documents (WORD or ECXEL)that are added as attachment to an e-mail?
What is the maximum size of a WORD document (kb) used as attachment to an e-mail that can be received without any problem?
How does such a word file, that is recieved by e-mail, appear in the display of the phone?
Can this file be transfered to a PC or a laptop in order to be edited by WORD?
Is there any anti-virus software suitable for Nokia N73?
thank you all in advance

Hi guys
personally I hav used N73 for 3 months now and really after the initial hiccups I have found that I cannot only do with themes and wallpapers, photo sessions and music player. I had always wanted something more so Nokia N73 has really done a wonders in this respect. Thank You Nokia. No doubt there r other good phones available in the market but Nokia N73 is exceptionally good fone and with the next firmware update the problems regarding any existing issues should hopefully be taken care of.

Hi!
Problem with the 850 camera is that it is not auto focus and that makes quite a difference on close ups. The walkman feature is very good. Speaker is okay but the canal headphones more than make up for this. I tried the 850 for the 14 day try out but decided to go back to the N73 for the all round features it has. By the way, I found the slider of the 850 very firm. It is a good phone but the camera lets it down.

bryan,
yes its a new function to save battery life and it comes with the new generation phones of nokia. the sensor is the blue LED light which detects if there is enough light for u to use your keypads and then adjusts according to it
