[deleted post]So you purposefully exaggerate the downsides and act like they are the only things there. Completely ignoring the benefits. Then even make crap up.
Although the review lacked some detail I had hoped for, The review was to the point and direction was spot on.
Quite rational thoughts from the reviewer as well.
I'd have loved to see details like low light camera performance.
I would like to support to the general sentiment that we need storage/flash memory benchmarks as well.
Keep up the good work and bring more of these. Thumbs up.
Ron M, 14 Mar 2015No SD-Card. No Replacable battery. Awful battery life. Im a Note user. If they do that to Note... moreFirst of all this review of battery life is on a pre release software and secondly the folks at gsmarena are known to jump the gun for giving early verdicts on battery life in the past and then correct the numbers later. Same thing happened for s5, note 4 and iPhone 6, initial sides reported for battery life were low and later they saw a significant increase. Don't trust these initial battery life numbers.
No SD-Card. No Replacable battery. Awful battery life. Im a Note user. If they do that to Note 5 then by by samsung, no real advantages whatsoever. They killed the main reason for their success
destro, 14 Mar 2015We may say that this S6 is the "non legitimate" son of a Z3 and iPhone6... LolFirst You Should Check One S6 Physically Then test the DNA . . LOL
[deleted post]i have had all iphones , i let my employees choose which company phone they want and i can buy any phone i choose and my car cost more that your house you muppit. my points were all facts . are you degenerate ? don't assume people are as broke in life as you are .
Do not worry about the battery life.
It was same with S5 on the first tests. But after first update the battery life got much better.
Same will be with S6 , FOR SURE(it might get update even before the release)
But still we miss the removable battery, even that the fast charging is great feature.
All those moaning and winging will ultimately buy it the moment they see it, the jealousy and pain most be unbearable for haters lol, watch this phone fly off the shelves haha...I feel sorry for Sony
Dear GSM arena,
I think you guys should add a review part of storage performance of a phone as well. things like Read/Write speed etc.
Pitabread123, 14 Mar 2015Still can be used to check viewing angles, which results in green tinted display on this phone.No.
Amoled, aren't lcd, colors don't change with viewing angles. You never owned any hence your smart conclusion.
destro, 14 Mar 2015We may say that this S6 is the "non legitimate" son of a Z3 and iPhone6... LolYes, after a long night iPhone 6 and cute Xperia Z3 had wild sex and 9 month later it came Galaxy S6
[deleted post]At least with the s6 you can still connect otg drives and memory sticks . iphone will always have the most boring os in phone history and the s6 edge still kills it in design and specs . iphone has not really changed since it was first introduced . its the phone for dummy's and the elderly and will always be laughed at .

Good phone, there are some things inevitable:
Design is an Apple ripoff
The Double glass will cause problems to Samsung, specially cause there is a lot of "moony" people that will break it and then claim warranty
There isn't that much of wow factor on this version, instead of the pulse sensor they should include an innovative but utility new gimmick, like a laser pointer or something like that (just to mention a rough example)
I like the edge version, at least looks a little bit more "original"
The SGS6 has many compelling features and of course predicts the features that the next Note will have.
I'm disappointed about the battery life as well as no SD support (128gb internal storage is great but a lot of carriers in the USA will likely not carry the 128gb version).
I will definitely not be buying this phone, however I'll wait and see what the Note 5 has in store.
If anyone from Samsung is reading this please do the following for the Note 5
1. Retain the removable battery (one of the cardinal reasons I only buy Samsung phones).
2. Please retain the SD support or make the 128gb available on day one on all USA carriers (I currently have a note 4 with 128gb micro SD card and I'm already running out of space)
3. Please make the phone much thinner and lighter than the Note 4
4. Would be nice not to have a glass, fingerprint magnet back like the Galaxy S6.
If the battery is disappointing and or if I can't get 128gb internal storage (in case SD support is removed), then it pains me that I will not be getting the Note 5
Anonymous, 14 Mar 2015Yes @30fps, it's written in the review.Yeah... nice upgrade from the s4.. 64gb would be perfect.. most of the people in the world uses their phone for point and shoot listen to music on the go and of course call and text.. at home you have ur computer and music players for that. . So even though it doesnt have replaceable batt its ok.. if you want to have best battery life you buy the z3 plain and simple
[deleted post]Most of these points are wrong
- Snapdragon same as the Exynos??? Have u seen the benchmarks
- Also the battery is dependent on the user, not this review
- Front Camera is much better than that of the S5
I have been a loyal Samsung owner through the years and I was going to buy the Samsung S6 but with no removable battery I would not even consider it. I also prefer plastic (resilient and light weight) to a phone that looks like an iPhone. Why are people so in love with metal and glass? Most people put covers on their phones anyway.
