soheil, 29 Jan 2007it is not great sony ericsson havent successful with w seriesGot it! Thnaks a lot again for helping me out!
yea, i agree with rubber pealing off, now it started on my phone after one and a half year.... over all i like this phone... but battery is not good... life span is too less, if charged once, it will discharge all the power with 2 day (for me, making calls is very less, in 48 hours, consider 1 (max) out going and max(1 or 2) in-coming). I have to charge it very next day from the day of the charging. I am planning to change my w710 very soon.
my phones rubber band is totally peeling off. Is there something that can be done about this? This sucks since I spent over 200.00 on this phone.
One of many problems I had with this phone was the auto shutdown when I closed the flip. Maybe it was in my head but it seemed like it would always stay on if I closed the phone carefully. The problem seems to have stopped. Really strange.
I'm also having the auto shut down problem once it is covered. No flash - bad thing. Camera resolution is not as high as the Nokia N72. The greyish rubber hasn't peeled off after about a year using it cz I've put on the hard plastic cover over it, which is now nearly 60% cracked. Still looks new for me.. my advice - put a hard plastic cover over it and it'll look like you've just bought it
i had this phone for half year, the phone started randomly shutting down when i close the flip. i updated the software to 184.108.40.206-1, the problem happens less than usual now, but still does sometime. overall it's a great phone.
got my phone it is great but my head set dont want to stay plugged in on my second one give me some help thanks keith
thinking of acquiring the phone since i've read all the somewhat good reviews. can someone tell me if it has a flashlight like the k750 model?
Can these people who write the review say something about how long the battery life will last instead of keep telling us that we cannot test the battery life because it was under heavy usage. Its no use buying a phone with only battery life specifications from the manufacturer, of cause they will boast around about their own products, please if u guys wanna do a review please do a complete one
the rubber peeled off? i dont even know how thats possible wow. i think thats isolated.
uh...this phone sucks ...after 2 months the grey rubber exterior started to peal off and now its almost totally gone ...
BAD BAD BAD
Great phone. I thought I'd wait for the review so I wouldn't be dissappointed when I buy it. But I bought it and I have to say I'm not dissappointed at all. Fulfills my expectations and more.
Planning to buy a bigger memory card though - got a lot of music, ringtones (who uses midi now anyway - it's all mp3 for me :P), pictures etc.
i've had this phone since right when it came out and people seem to be pretty negative about it but i'm happy with it. i don't really use the fitness app, but i do enjoy having the pedometer because i do a lot of outdoor/walking type things and i get curious how far i've gone. as far as working out though, i don't enjoy listening to music or anything so i dont use it for that.
i really like the simplicity and the fact that everything on the phone works how it should. internet is easy, file management, multitasking all works great.
only complaints are the crappy camera (my last two phones were SE W800 and Sharp 903SH) and i wish it had a higher resolution screen. other than that, great phone.
it looks like just another W series.
so many W models, so little inovation....
This seems like a very ideal phone. Too bad we are just now seeing a review, with all the new SE products coming out just around the corner...
