LG KG920 vs. SE K800 vs. Nokia N73: One more photo shootout
Recently we've got LG K920 for testing; this is one of the first 5MP camera GSM phones available on the market. We've decided that it's a good idea to test it against one of the best currently available 3MP camera phones, and also great rivals - Sony Ericsson K800 and Nokia N73.

N73 is the best.. I bought this phone few weeks back , and I am happy with the performance .. it has an awesome camera and a good stereo , although the volume on the headfones in not that high .. but the quality is good. I am satisfied with the battery and speed of the phone. Best feature of this phone is the clarity as compared to other nokia phones.

I'm using K800i and i know it's the best when it comes to pictures. They did'nt just call it cyber shorts. N73 it's also a good phone but you can't just compare the two.

Hi guyz, just bought a Nokia N73 ME and found out its superb steroe speakers but the 3.2MP Carl zeiss camera is also superb. So, if u all want a phone with good music and camera i reckon this phone but uif u emphasize on having a camera phone, then just get the Sony Ericsson K800i or K810i because its clear tht the Nokia has better functions and its Symbian.

first of all i have to say that its great to have camphones like these. i do have the two phones, k800i and n73ME. both have unique qualities installed, stereo, mp3, camera, etc. The best thing about n73ME is it's stereo. The sound si really clear and very much likely better than of K800i. There are lots of stuffs and applications that you can use in the carl zeis camera. For k800i, the sound is not as loud as n73ME since there is no mega bass for sure and that there is no 3D effects. There are more applications in nokia rather that K800i plus its 2G free memory stick. For me to choose between both is a hard one but i have to say i prefer K800i than n73ME. K800i's camera is far better that of nokia's. It is superb i tell you. Xenon lense is very good. Even if you compare it to N95(which i also do have) is just similar to it's 5 mega pixel cam. As you all know, if we are all speaking of cybershot, it is for the digi cam. Wow, i do have a digital cam installed already in my K800i. The images are really real, full of life. For sound quality, i dont get bothered since K800i's effect is still very good (n73ME is much better hehe). Video is a lot faster and is very nice. To tell you more about the comparisons, check this one out.
screen:
N73ME is better
music:
N73ME is better
picture:
K800i is better
ear phone:
K800i is better
battery:
k800i is FAR BETTER.. n73me, poor battery :(
video:
K800i is better
weight:
n73ME is better
speed of phone:
k800i is better
memory card:
the same
keypad:
depends on you
joystick:
both have it
user friendly:
both are user friendly
umm, i forgot to mention, k800i is clearer than the 2. n73 is much brighter. the essence of the picture is lost since it is not showing its true colors because of the way carl zeis lense projects, giving more light to the picture which is makes it look "over" for that certain image .k800i is better indoor, outdoor, night or day. so k800i is still the best.
so you guys who want to buy a new phone, i strongly suggest that you choose k800i. same price as of nokia but much expensive than samsung. but if you want the more sophisticated one, k810i is the best for you. slick design, lighter, cooler etc. it's loaded baby!
for all you buyers, a food for though:
"SE prices depreciates slower than of Nokia."

Comparing Nokia phones with LG,Sony Ericsson is not worth it,even if they have the same features,N O K I A will always be nokia.Samsung is the only contender of nokia in the GSM market,n73 is the best among the three.

Come on people, all 3 phones are great, and it's a matter of choice, choose the one you like yourself.
My favourite is the SE no doubt, because I think that it makes the most natural pictures, and as said with most details (compaired to Nokia). For me it's most important to get a good picture to start out from. You can tweak the contrast and so on in a program on the computer.
Another thing is that I find some of you way to picky, fx about the picture of the branches. Come on, GSM-arena has taken it to extremes to show it. Would you ever look at a picture zoomed that much in? Look at the full-scale pictures, can you see the blue and purple here? Guess not, unless you are trained.
But where I find that the Nokia really falls through is the small lights which turns random colors, thats a pitty. That's what really made me go for the SE.

@jens:
i always carry my Canon P&S digicam in my glovebox.
cause, none of those expensive cameraphones can match my Canon pocket digicam.
some of my friends did that too, because you'll never know when those "beautiful moment" come to you.
i guess you should stop being a geek, leave your computer, and go out and meet some normal people.
believe me, there's a lot of nice people out there who love to carry their digicam everywhere.

ok, sek800 is better in picture in dark (i think only 10% of the pictures will happen there in darkness) , but you must see functionability and programing in n73.. its a symbian phone, like SE p990! you cant compare k800 and n73! they are different phones..
you must know it a little and a little hangy phone cause of its OS. the sony ericson's P series hangs more more than N73..
i love sony mark on every thing but mobile phone, cause of ericsson ? i dont know and sorry.

SE K800 is the winner, LG is the second and the last place is for nokia!
I dont know why the nokia lovers talk about N73 smartphone cappabilities when all of them see a K800 king in the imaging department, loosers. Nokia never can match SE in camera quality, NEVER, and take into account the freezes, and hangs of the BUGGY S60.

hmm, i never like the result of the images produced by Sony compact digicam before,
and i don't think the Sony-Ericsson digicam will do any better.
as for Nokia, the Carl-Zeiss Lens might give a little boost, but still can't beat the KG920.
