LG KG920 vs. SE K800 vs. Nokia N73: One more photo shootout - read the full textRecently we've got LG K920 for testing; this is one of the first 5MP camera GSM phones available on the market. We've decided that it's a good idea to test it against one of the best currently available 3MP camera phones, and also great rivals - Sony Ericsson K800 and Nokia N73.

hmm, i never like the result of the images produced by Sony compact digicam before,
and i don't think the Sony-Ericsson digicam will do any better.
as for Nokia, the Carl-Zeiss Lens might give a little boost, but still can't beat the KG920.

the nokia photos look unreal,the sky is too deep blue,those small white bulbs are pink or green,things look plastic or like drawn. they are too sharpened,you can see white lines around all edges

K800i well... it just a normal phone with a good camera inside,tats all.But when comes to snapping pictures, documents function, and alots more software that we can install ourselves,so n73 of course the choice.

If i wanted to buy a camera, I wudn't visit this website. Moreover, I haven't met a (normal)guy who carries his digital camera everywhere. To have a great phone cum camera like K800 is simply awesome. Whenever u feel like snapping some pics, hey! it's there in ur pocket! :-)

SEK800 has the best overall camera, let's rate SE and Nokia for some various things.

A = Almost like taking a picture with a real digital camera.
F = Almost like taking a picture with a tubesock.

i've tested them all ,,,,

and i see that SE is the king due to the large experience
of the very famous photography com. SONY

then comes Nokia after that comes LG ,,

that's just my opinion

hmm... lets think,in malaysia market price K800 is around rm1200(AP) and N73 is around RM1550(AP),if u ppl so really wants to take a perfect picture why wanna buy a camera phone with paying such price and still wants to comment this and that?? Since u ppl so care bout the picture clearity rather u pay the price for a real camera,i think in tat price u can buy a 10mp DiGicam already.

M i rite???...

I have the latest firmware on my N73 and it doesnt hang or anything.N73 rulzz them all

it is obvious. the kg920 is AWFUL outdoors. k800i not much better, n73 is by far the best outdoors. indoors the n73 is the best followed by the kg920 then the k800i. the n73 is by far the best.

nokia n73, well done. 1st place
k800i, kg920, awful. last place

N73 camera is brilliant but not as a digital camera. but a camera phone. K800's one really shines out of both dark and lighted conditions as a camera and camera phone. don't compare the two in photography cause it is clear that with all photographers opinion, K800 surely wins.

sum1 had said dat "try N73 n learn how to use" .. c...its quite manifest dat N73 is too much complicated device to handle..dsnt hav a user friendly interface...yes its tru...let me giv u n example...while recieving music through bluetooth in N73..it appears as a msge n den we hav to locate da location to wher we hav to save it..ohh needs too much tym 4 it..whoa its so stupidity! bt in K800i..jst recieve a music..it wil automatically make new folders 4 artist album n auto place it in da music folder..simple..not a complicated 1...

K800i iz lyk Windows XP in computers
N73 iz lyk Windows 98(not even da second edition..:p)
now u decyd...which 1 wil u go 4... complicated or simple..?

I think that k800i is best with good xenon flash, Video,Music Player,and it is lounder than others i suggest u buy this phone

K800 pictures are good,but the video is terrible!!!
Althou N73 pictures cant compare to K800 but its video was too good if compare to K800.

Sony K800 makes the rules in this area, the photo zone. LG can't get any point in this battle. N73 can't photo when light is weak or dark... so K800 is THE BEST...

Both N73 and K800i camera quality are equally good but for night shot at dark place, K800i xenon flash rule and also K800 do not hang.. Btw, I have not confience in LG camera phones do no comments.

owning the phone; n73 is the best, both productivity and multimedia, the photo results are excellent, yet, still wont be able to replace my dual lens V610 kodak

i have a digital camera but i don`t have it all the time with me!
for this reason i`m going to buy a Nokia N73!!!!

for sure we can't compare the quality of a camera phone with that of a digital camera....camera phone 72dpi, digi cam nowadays 300+dpi....but what camera phones really offer are convinient, u can use it to capture moments at any time,with above acceptable quality for photo developing....music player in digi cam is really good...the quality is just as good with normal mp3 player...

but who will bring a digi cam along with them all the time??it's bulky...mp3 player on the other hand may be convinient...but when u can choose to bring only one gadget, "all in one" handphone, and also bear in mind that handphone is an indispensible gadget nowdays, mp3 player is becomes very redundant...ppl use mp3 player just purely because it's a stylish "redundant", stupid gadget....

i don't understand why manufacturors like to boast their megapixels...can your naked eye really notice the difference shen squeeze to normal display size??do you always look at pics so closely???? yes big megapixels ensure better quality when displaying big photos.....but is your monitor that big???do you want to develop such a big picture???? come on.....manufacturors should just focus to increase the quality of the photos instead of big megapixels..better sharpness..focus on improving quality of pictures taken in low light condition.....
