LG KG920 vs. SE K800 vs. Nokia N73: One more photo shootout - read the full textRecently we've got LG K920 for testing; this is one of the first 5MP camera GSM phones available on the market. We've decided that it's a good idea to test it against one of the best currently available 3MP camera phones, and also great rivals - Sony Ericsson K800 and Nokia N73.

come on guys , is nokia paying u 2 suport ther phones. every bothy knows tha SE is better than NK. since the arival of K700 SE has been on top.
I bought the 2 phones and nk is just good for righting sms. se is the best Bilive me

oh shut up, u cant hv a say at this. u dont even know how to spell body..by the way the k800 is just another dumb normal phone while the n73 is a SMARTphone and can do more things, ive had sony ericsson phone's..i reackon it should hv just stayed as ericsson, sony should go die with its failing ps3

Everyone is different. Colour perception, colour blindness, cataracts, etc are all part of the equation. Anyway not everybody has perfect eye sight...
But personally even though i am a Nokia person at heart. The SE has much better colour reproduction and performance, the nokia still comes up with sharper and clearer images. Personally there are trade offs but hey...its only a phone. Get a digital camera if you're so fuss about camera-phones!

i'm really admire to SE K 800, its a fantastic camera phone with xenon flash, no ones other have the flash like this one!
Nokia is slowly work like a computer with a low disk space , and with LG camera Phone, its not really fair
i suggest you to use the SE K 800,
you'll get a super wonderfull camera phone with the laest technology!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seems like all Nokia Fans Boy can not accept what GSMARENA had written:

Performance
Sony Ericsson K800 wins by a small margin here. Nokia N73 is a smartphone and is expected to be slower, but in reality is not much slower than K800 in both focusing and saving times.


C'mone guys, you are not capable enough to give a review but GSMARENA does. So accept it. Why must debating and fighting with this kind of things ? Did Nokia pay you for being its fan ?

nokia phones are much better than sony er because they are smartphones and you can do a lot of things. if you buy a nokia phone you will have it more than 5 years. and if you want good fotos buy a digital camera not a mobile phone. sony ericon sucks. GO NOKIA

Overall, k800i IS a loser to N73, i both tested each,
sound of k800i is not comparable to n73. video no doubt is a loser for k800i, so low-tech, the only good on this camera is the xenon lamp. but it still produces noisy pics! trust me, if u want over all, go for n73.

however, SE still the best n will be the best n the best! camera, sound, and also price...
In the dark, k800i shows the best pictures. and the most important, its show natural pictures. we wait other surprise SE. u'r next 5MP camera phone will beat the others.

Whoever goes for the SK800i is just wasting their money. The N73 is the way to go, in both durability of the phone and the functionality. The only thing the K800i has over both phones is the Xenon flash which seriously drains the batteries juice. Not a good idea.

i guys i saw all the pics taken by those phones. but if you are going to buy a good camera mobile than go for SE K800 it is great becouse my friend has a mobile shop and he has all latest phone and i have already tried SE K800 and Nokia N73. And amazing k800 beats n73. the right choice is SE. becouae i have the one and i am satisfied. so go for SE, nokia Sucks.

Bling, you saw a yellow in LG, purple on N73, but you keep skipping odvious PINK+VIOLET on K800, take a look at the tree, branches, don't you see it?

And i told you that those stripes on mini car must be white, just like N73 did, not grey, like on K800. Why don't you comment on that? So who's got more accurate color?
Also, take a look at radiator grill,

on N73 pic you can see even small detailes, while on K800 and LG everything is lost...

LG has the sharpest and most reliable photos in the test. nokia and SE just have nothing to do in comparison to the LG's one. the pictures in lg have problems with yellow color, but is remedied by photo editors by reducing the brightness of the yellow tint and is back to normal color rendition with unbeatable resolution even in 3mp mode and sharpness even at edges unlike the SE and nokia. in nokia and se if edited by a software doens't bring out good expectation for they're both having crap sensors. hmm. maybe gsmarena must include the Sharp 903 in the contest, and those K800 and N73 will eat dust=D.

Lg wins obviously.
SE and Nokia just eat dust in 3mp mode. their fans are so bitter

nokia has best displays? hey boy even though nokia has 16m colors and 352x416 resolutions isn't mean that nokia has the best display in a phone but samsung/sharp and benq-siemens S88. try comparing even samsung's lowest type stn displays with nokia's one. TFT displays in nokia when adjusted the brightness to the highest level will not be reliable for viewing angles at less than or over 90 degrees and it isn't even as bright as the one used in S88 benq-siemens' OLED LCD. in short E70/N95's lcd is no match even to the OLED of the lower class S88. please be very realistic. nokia's tft displays are only good in low-lights but colors are whitish/washed-out when brightness adjusted to high.

Did you notice that whole overall PURPLE tint?????

just flick between the k800i shot and N73.

And also just picked up on the LG error. Flick between Lg and K800i pic. you'd notice that the LG has a yellow tink

rus the point of a camera is to caputue the moment not to enhance it. by saying Nokia is the best camera you're penalising Sony for Caputring what was seen, you're basically saying since sony only rendered what was seen isn't good enough.

But trust me, you'll pay the penalty with nokia..... I mean, why in the pictures with the mini cooper hoods does the N73 picture is there so much light???? I'd want to believe the road is black not like what N73 showed us

i am still looking all the photos taken by the 3 phones and i am trying to understand how some people say than SE phone take better ones. hellooooooooo!!!! nokia overwins those cheap useless phones. and lukas, don't compare screens because you can't understand some things. nokia makes today the best displays, compared to any other phones.

hey guys i have to say that the n73 used by the gsmarena team hasn't got the latest firmware on it. out of curiosity i snapped 5 minutes ago some pics of different yellow objects(a shirt,my sony walkman etc...) ant they aren't so horrible like the ones in the shootout.also the other range of colors has been corrected. i have firmware 3.0649.0.0.1. you might try yourselves and see(obviously owners on n73's). although i don't guarantee same results
