I am disappointed to have not seen a single blackberry or Palm PDA in this list, they were extremely popular at the time, and not to forget the Nokia 9210.
I always loved phones, gadgets, technology, but man i don't miss those days. Having to press a button 1-4 times to get the letter you want, being unable to do anything with a phone except for calling and texting and barely any other thing... I had my xperia z1 in service a few days ago because they screwed it up with the latest update and it needed to have it's software reinstalled and i only had it there for 3 days and it took this long only because i don't have a sony service center in my city, i already had the phone back on the 3rd day. Anyway i strayed away, for those 2 days i had to use my old xperia x10 mini pro since i gave my s2 to someone. And that was such a huge pain in the ass, being unable to do anything else with the phone aside of calling texting and whatsapp is the only app that functioned properly. Having to use a small screen... I don't miss those days, sure i might feel a bit nostalgic but whenever i take a old phone and use it i get sick to my stomach. Some might not agree with me but i say good riddance.
Best Mobile Reviewing site. I am emotionally attached to this website as this was the time when i started using cell phones. Every single cell phone that I have owned till now, over 10 phones to be approximate.
Thanks for all the valuable job the team at gsmarena does.
Happy Birthday GSM Arena.. But why so little Samsung in the video.?
They made some fantastic phones. Like the T100 one of the first real colour screens, or the A100 pure Luxury at the time.
thx Gsmarena, all of them was a memory for me, i miss situation when we sent sms, and we wait the reply so excited isn't? gap time when we wait can be used to social time with friend or family
You have made me nostalgic. I can't stop remembering those classy days my 1st phone is a Nokia 2600 then Nokia 6600, E55 N97 then 808 yup I am a typical Nokia fan and I have never ever used any windows phone or even before Nokia got killed by Elop. By the way still waiting for a pure Nokia Android device till then long live Micromax canvas A1.

Happy birthday GSM Arena! I'm quite sure that I was among the first South Africans to come across such a phenomenal website which I always recommended to my fellow South Africans whenever they wanted to buy a new phone. All the best phones we had and those we could only desire, all the arguments and fanboyism we always shown, will always occupy a special place in our hearts.I remember 1st phones were the Bosch 509, Motorola T192, Motorola V360(my 1st cameraphone and well, internet device), Nokia 6234, Sony Ericsson K800 Cybershot, then my 1st real smartphone was the Samsung Omnia (WinMo 6.1) that I bought in late 2009... From then on I was an Android fan all the way starting off with the Sony Ericsson Experia X10 Mini in 2011, then it was 2 Samsung Galaxies then a Huawei Ascend G510...
Congratualtions GSMArena! Great 15 years you got! Go for 15 or more! Cheers!
