And the I don't think the green cast with the iphone is what everyone wants for their skin

how we feel when we look at mirror that how feel with iphone 6 camera.
but with S6 my day is gone.
scenary taking s6 wil be fine..but not humans.
I love apple and samsung products, they have an edge over each other however choosing between their top of the line phones really depends on a persons preference. If an Iphone 6s plus suits you then go for it and same as for the galaxy s6 edge+. It doesnt matter what phone you choose as long as it provides excellency in specific task you greatly love and enjoy.
Smotion, 18 Oct 2015The simple fact that I can have full manual control over my images taken with one of the phone... morevery well said... ive tried the the iphone 6s plus myself but not satisfied and ohh sooo expensive! but my friends have switched to s6 edge plus and that i should give it a try and man, i was blown away! no competition! too bad though theres no 128g available yet
Well lemme see where to start.
I have been an avid apple phane since iphone released and then had Iphone 3s, 4s, 5s and then 6 plus.
I was on vacation and we were about to boar a ferry that was knee deep in ocean in Ko Samui (thailand). iphone got wet for 5 sec and gues what became non repairable and my wife's galaxy S5 survived.
Then in Bangkok I saw both Iphone 6s plus and Galaxy edge plus.
OMG the looks of edge plus blew me.
So i decided to give it a chance.
No having Edge plus for just couple of days I have realized what a fool I have been buying iphones. Everything is so easy with samsung like sharing and downloading stuff. Pictures and Videos can match my Canon 7D DSLR camera.
for me its edge plus 100 times better than iphone. Not a big fan of android though but samsung is amazing and it will take time to get used to android coz i find ios simpler and easier.
Hope this will help
Ammmm, why at battery tests are there 5 years old phones in the list? cmon, be professional
Firstly, "iPhone 6s Plus is a lot slippery without a case on". Maybe modify that sentence so it says something like "is very slippery".
Secondly, the battery test.
IMO the Samsung got a great endurance rating because of its talk time.
These days - talk time is the least feature I use on my phone.
Texting, social media, email and web dominate most people's use with a smartphone.
Here, the iPhone dominates, by a bit. So a "narrow" margin it is not for me.
I'm surprised you don't feel the same way.
There is no way that Google music beats Apple music because it is not available in many regions. It is annoying as someone who has only had Android phones (Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Moto G 1st and now 2nd Generation) to not be able to purchase any content from Google and have to rely on third party apps that more often than not leave my phone with adware. It has been years of waiting and I highly doubt we'll see them available in my region anytime soon while Apple Music (or ITunes on my PC) is the only place we can legally purchase or stream good quality music.

Even if you were just being facetious.... What was said in those three comments between the three of us has nothing to do with judging you for your experience still.
i prefer the samsungs not just because of the hardware i like the freedom of android than having to be forced to use itunes and only apps Apple approve
android offer the freedom of using apps that are not on the market and you dont have to pay as many of the apps like you have to with App store
i do agree samsung have copied some of the iphone but same can go for Apple copying some of the Android features
but while Apple and Samsung are battling it out other phones will start to be designed to beat the samsung and apple phones i.e Oneplus Two

Chief, you might want to reread my statement and see what I was responding to.... Learn to read in context.
Two hints: focus on "no room for debate" and think. Facetious, maybe?

You made the false claim that sales equals a no contest win in response to a factual claim that the S6 won objectively.
And I called you out for that.
Obviously people do that. But that's simply not the case for most people here. The S6 Edge plus simply had an objectively dramatically larger Edge here.
And in defense to the Edge the ihpone takes an unnatural color cast to many photos and skin tones. So you can't really say that a little saturation or something like that counts against the S6 and not the iphone. Espeically when the S6 has truer manual controls

So just because you can't accept the way you look because you don't have flawless skin you think the whole world hates resolved detail and the iphone camera being heavily over priced for a less capable camera with blurrier detail makes it better?????? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
And hello...That's what Beauty mode is for.
Grey1213, 18 Oct 2015The 6s would have a more detailed photo, no?I believe the poster is referring to the processing algorithm, which on the Samsungs pushes exposure, contrast, saturation and so on more aggressively than iOS does. Similar to the pop function in Google Photos.
Anonymous, 18 Oct 2015Lol. Cute attempt. But horrible fail.
A few problems. iPhone is the only iOS phone option. ... moreJust curious, why do you think I fail, for speaking from my own experience?
I have both the Note 5 and the iPhone 6+ and I am getting an iPhone 6S+ from work as well to replace the 6+. I also had the S6 Edge before the Note 5 came out and by the end, I strongly disliked the Edge and had gone to using the iPhone 6+ exclusively.
I like the Note 5 a lot better. All I am saying is that the iPhone 6+ is a really well balanced phone as far as overall user-experience goes and honestly, if I had to give one or the other up, probably the Note 5 will go. I have had enough time with the iPhone 6S+ to know that I like it a lot.
For me the camera choice is a toss up. I like the camera on the Note 5 very much, but I also like my iPhone 6+ photos a lot. The Note 5 has better detail in low light but it also opens everything up in an unnatural way, which is what some of the Edge+ shots here showed too. The iPhone 6+ can get grainy, but the 6S+ improve a lot on it and it gets it right more often that the Note 5.
It looks like a lot of people blindly defend whatever they bought, looking for anything on the web to support their bias and to thrash people who have chosen a competing product. Stupid.
Why do reviewers not realize that most of the people use their camera to take photos of themselves or other human beings, and the said human beings do NOT prefer more "resolved details"..
Photos from an iPhone are more or less ready to share as the fine detail is not resolved and hence most of the skin blemishes are already faded out producing a high quality photo.
I have acne scars on my face and none of the photos taken by my Galaxy S5 were worth sharing without heavy photoshop work first while my iPhone 5S took photos flawlessly. There were a few traces but most of the photos taken were not overblown or too dark or too "detailed".. I could just share them right away.
There is a reason people prefer an iPhone's camera. If someone is into taking photos of nature and buildings and birds and scenery and such and prefers absolute details, they would probably prefer a DSLR or a digital camera at first place, not their phone. iPhone usually takes a photo with moderate amount of detail, so without zooming, it comes out perfect, neither too unnecessarily detailed, nor blurred by any means, basically being a perfect all rounder for all purposes practical. Afterall synthetic pixel peeping matters for lab testers and nerds only. A common man would want his camera to perform to his needs.. And I sold that iPhone a while ago because of its terrible interface.. God I hate iOS but that camera was really good.. I might buy a 6S or something for that..
