A5 charging time have the heat? What is the problem help me pls i just buy 2days
Hey you guys, any comment on the flickering issue mentioned in the article for you who have used this for a longer time? I was almost decided to buy this - but I believe flicker can really be harmful for eyes - and I dont wanna get headaches when I watch an occasional movie on this.
Thank you for your comments
Here are my comments on the phone (Galaxy A5 (2016))
Perfect screen size
Great screen quality in terms of PPI
Micro SD slot (Up to 128GB.)
Dual SIM usage (single SIM only if using Micro SD slot)
Design is fantastic, mimics the iPhones, however
Materials used for the phone is durable (No scratches, dings, or any visible damage so far for 1 month.
OTG support. (Also only up to 128GB.)
Awesome rear cam.
And HOPEFULLY, plans for Android Marshmallow.
The software. (IDK why this thing is still on Lollipop.)
Fingerprint scanner (Only three fingerprints? SRLSY? And the 90% accuracy of it.)
It's a little heavy.
Only 10.8GB internal is available to the user.
Weak audio quality.
And crappy front cam. (Only if your hand shakes.)
Here are things I don't know where to put;
The price? (Some people are complaining about the price. But I bought it from a little cheaper price.)
Colors are oversaturated? (Okay, this is maybe because of the SUPER AMOLED thing. This can be adjusted, however.)
I bought this phone 4 days ago and it is really good for the price. This is the best phone you can get at this price point. It is priced same as Sony Xperia M5. Where i live brands like Xiaomi, Motorola, ZTE etc. is not available.
I'm using this device for a week now and I can say that I'm very satisfied of its performance. I'm wondering why do people complain about the price tag? In my country, Indonesia, it is priced at ca. 350 usd and I got even more ca. 50 usd cachback, free front and back screen protection with lifetime guarantee and a bag full of gifts from Eraphone (dealer).
S6 offers more in terms of specs and features I know (quite expected and logical) for ca. 250 usd price difference but I don't need those "advantages" anyway. Just buy things you personally need, mate!
A5-6 is not only premium looking, but also got premium feel when holding it due to its perfect "heavy" weight. I love it!
This hasn't been released in the UK yet, and I've been given a date of May. I'm thinking that by that time ths S6 will be a very similar price. So I am trying to decide between this or the S6. I know spec wise the S6 is the better phone, but I'm always reading about the poor battery life of the S6 which is a concern. So what is everyone's opinion, Galaxy S6 or A5 2016?
JBee, 03 Feb 2016Why do you care what other people think of your phone? You buy the phone for yourself, becaus... moreExactly, i dont like samsung style and features, so i will bet other flagships from apple nexus lg and sony instead
JBee, 14 Feb 2016Fed up with reading the same comment over and over. If you think it's too expensive, then don... morei dont want buy that i already use iphone so....
i just say that the phone price is sooo high i just share my opinion....
1. Mobile Phone Price Is So High
2. Sound is so light
3. Touch Some Time Not Work Smoothly
4. No LED INDICATER For Notification
Price of this ph is too much high with the features avail no one would buy this. Better to go on other models like A8 or A9
I m using A5. But I have big sound problem. When I call or recive call, than sound quality so poor.
Plz help me
kputra, 13 Feb 2016WAY too expensive price tag for tge specsFed up with reading the same comment over and over. If you think it's too expensive, then don't buy it. Simple.
junb2007, 06 Feb 2016But with a lowly battery , Alpha is a useless phone. No. With the galaxy alpha you can swap the battery and it go up from 0 to 100% less than 5 minutes. It even faster than fast charging.
shabih29, 04 Feb 2016I bought this just yesterday for my mother, and trust me, while I was there which was about fo... moreIf A5 can support new version of Android then so can the older flagship S4 do. Because hardware for both of them is same( or might be better in S4). However it's the will of Samsung that they may not give updates to S4. Otherwise why would a person will choose A5 over S4. It's completely a marketing strategy to force users to buy overpriced metal chunk.
Here with the Galaxy Alpha after 5 months still a great phone. Scores around 50k on antutu and 940:3200 on geekbench 3. Way better performance than the new A5. Records 4k also and has the heart rate sensor both of which aren't present on the A5 2016 .
I'm happy with my S5 and don't plan to ditch it. However, if I had to choose between the A5 or the S6, I would easily choose the A5. The features on the A5 may not be as sharp as the S6, but they are good enough. The SD Card slot and much better battery life more than make up for any other area it is behind the S6.
