Nokia N95 review: Nokia’s crown jewel - read the full textThis is the our detailed test of Nokia N95, the best equipped phone on today’s mobile market. Nokia N95 is among first mobiles to have a built-in camera with a 5 megapixel resolution. Among its lures are also an integrated GPS module, HSDPA support, two-way sliding construction, and a very handy 3.5 mm jack connector for earphones.

wow! a lot of cry babies in here lol...all in all this is a great device and I am very pleased with this phone. However, unlike other people out there I dont have high expectations with its features.
If you want full function GPS? go get yourself a real GPS device, you want good quality pictures? go get a 10MP camera... I could go on forever, so stop with the whinning its just a phone to make phone calls, and with great features.

It takes to long to arrive in eastern Europe. Here in Croatia still didn't arrive.

Had this phone just under a week now, and i honestly think its amazing! you wont believe the video quality until you have seen in, really is amazing, cant fault the camera at all, brilliant fone. if you think its going to be too big for your pocket etc.. stop worrying that was one thing i thought about but its just fine! 10/10 without doubt, nothing even comes close.. yet!!!

Hmm. I'm a Motorola user, but this phone made me a Nokia now. Well changing subject huh, Why you SE fans dont go to your SE site and annoy your own ppl there, I just say 'cause Im just readin K800 here and there and walkman there and here, ppl if you wanna hear music buy a Ipod(or any mp3 player), if you want a great flash buy a digit camera, and wtf Its true the batt is bad but cmon is just a little piece of plastic with other stuff in it and the tasks this phone makes are a lot, even a laptop(well just like an xample pcs are far better than a phone) its batt last like 3 hours max that if your laptop auto low the contrast and you aint listening to music. And is good to hear differents opinions but from N95 owners not SE owners. Peace
PD:Im not a N95 owner, yet.(But I like the phone is good)

for someone who says k800i is better:
so you prefer a phone with a good flash only? :/
And if nokia n95 with Carl Zeiss optics is not up to standard.
then sony digi camera with Carl Zeiss optics is not up to standard too. and k800i without Carl Zeiss optics will more more more not up to standard as well:/ right? does it make sense?
dont tell me sony digi camera is more lousier then sony with a "ericsson" behide. am i right? think about it..
as for battery life. you've got the money to buy this phone, dont tell me you dont have the money to buy a spare battery eh? :/

and as you can see, SE keep coming out 2megapixel phone or walkman phone.. what is that for? is like changing the design only? SE is not upgrading.. in which place does SE win\ nokia?
flash? battery life? this 2?

and for nat, i do agree with you that n80 and n73 is a bit slow and hangs sometime.. cause i used them before. but currently i just changed to n95, it is much faster and 9.5/10 wont hang cause it's a 3.5G phone. just a highlight for this phone "it wont hang that much like n80 or n73" it's like 2-3sec faster then those two phone. nokia have a bit of improvement on n95 for the lag and hanging thing. and once again, nothing is perfect. each phone have their step back. you cant have a prefect phone.
and also n95's size has all in one fuction and nokia manage to make this phone much faster then n73. less lag and hang. so why do we have to complain so much for?
honestly this phone have some bad points, example "for video recording, we cant on the flash but the quailty is good on daylight and i also agree battery life is damn little but you can buy a spare battery.." just bare this in mind nothing is perfect.

recently got n95,second one thou, had to exchange first one due to
it crashing, after this mishap im still happy with my choice.working in the mobile industry we get alot of phones in for repair.we get k800i by the bucketloads for software problems and k800's just going dead.

the n95 is the market leader at the moment, until sony can catch up with a similiar or better model,k800i outdated and needs a revamp.

The picture quality is very poor, due to sharpening and noise reduction. The jpeg compression makes it even worse.

To the guy who slated my post.

Grow up, i actually work in a phone store. The K800i has a lot better flash and even the people who work with me prefer it. Try to write properly next time too, it took me a while to understand your wacky language.

The N95 would be a brill phone if it didnt crash all the time, have a horrible battery and produce photos that are dark and not up to standard.

The video isnt that good on the K800 i admit but i never mentioned that first.

You are obvioulsy some spoilt brat who has stuck to his guns on Nokia and cant accept that they are no longer the best.

If youre still in disagreement ill fight you to the death for it.

Name the place, name the time and ill be there.

Matt...

its nice nokia is leading the market with new inivations once again but, will nokia ever make a phone that doesnt hang? ive had over 20 nokia phones and their earlier models with the black and white screens were good. when they started with all these functions and what nots the phones got worst and worst. dont get me wrong the design and the general ideas they have for their phones are very good but, having a phone that actually works well without having to restart or pulling out the battery everyday cause of the phone hanging is a lot more important. my last experience with nokia that i actually bought was the n80. a phone that had wifi 3.+ mega pixel camera and other bells and whistles that was just pure garbage! no i didnt have a bad unit cause 3 of my other friends had the same phone that would always hang. another model that had that same problem was the n73. my phone was purchased for an authorized nokia dealer and i took my phone 2 times to the service center for software upgrades that just didnt work. i think they should concentrate more in improving the way their phones work instead of releasing new models every so often that in reality are not improvements of their old units. since then ive switched to sony ericsson. i currently own a p990, k610, and a z520. the p990 still has a few problems but nothing as bad as my experiences with nokia but the z520 and the k610 have never ever had to be restarted nor have they ever hung. nokia should come out with reliable devices if they want to keep their customer loyalty. they already lost one.
